• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 Vibration

You figure BRP is between a rock-and-a-hard-place as they say. If there was a tensioner added (nature of the beast), that would imply a defect, and, costly to retro all the units. It's too bad when they developed this generation (F3) unit, that they did not go with some tensioner similar to...

    Windscreen extenders ?

Just ordered the x-creen sport for mine... I'll post an update after this weekend's ride. (Should be here by Friday). Just happened to try the sport 1st as it seems to be a more natural looking fit for the Blueridge, but, admit clearly it will not (at least I believe so) equal what the Tour...

Accessories - MONO cowl + Short Rail + Spoiler + Heated Grips

I'm digging the black custom stripe with the red accent on the edge to match the frame rails. Nicely done!

    Windscreen extenders ?

Do you have the Sport or the Tour?

X-creen Tour saved my Blue Ridge

ONE2DOO..... Did the Sport make a difference at all, and was the Tour that much better?

X-creen Tour saved my Blue Ridge

I am liking this idea quite a bit! (Anyone here, although small chance, have a sport model mounted to their Blueridge?)

    F3 Saddlebag - Need a tester

Final update. Since the re-adjustment, and after yesterdays ride, still 100% locked. (so the key is to mount the bag fully seated, turn the locking dial, then move the front locking mount to exactly touch the arm. DO NOT move the arm forward from the OUTSIDE). That being said, the arm can NOT be...

    F3 with Saddlebags/Frackle Question?

I have a F3S with what you see on my signature.... (which includes saddlebags). Has zero impact on anything related to the riding of the Spyder. (Although many complain about the wind buffeting from the windshield.... no biggie for me). The saddlebags are darn near rock-solid when mounted.

anyone have a position 5 brake rod, to trade for a position 3?

When the #5 was put on, the dealer should be able to hand you back the stock #3. (Unless they did an even $$ swap for no charge other than labor)

Power outlet for the f 3

In that general area, is one of the (3) power harnesses provided. Under the left-side lateral panel, strapped to the larger harness you will see if you look up in there, is a cloth-covered set (bare wire ends with wax and cloth taped) that only work when the engine is running. (I used that for...

    F3 Saddlebag - Need a tester

Thanks for working with me on this! (It was crazy that my left side would come loose after a ride...well 1" back, yet the right side is fine). I bet if I get that stop block to the perfect place, it will be ok. Key is that the bag is mounted in the rearmost position, the dial is turned to engage...

    F3 Saddlebag - Need a tester

Someone humor me please that has a set. OK.... 1) Pull the bag off the Spyder. 2) Now on a table, turn the dial till it stops. (At that point you should be fully extended into the locking position) 3) Try to push it backwards from the outside. (In theory you should it will not move) 4) Now...

    Performance mods or scrap F3-S?

You probably want to sell then. Lets face it, it is not a sport bike and sport bikes don't weight 850lbs.... At the end of the day you still have the drag of three large tires on the ground plus, pure HP/Wt ratio. The only thing out there in stock form with three wheels might be a GoldWing...

X-creen Tour saved my Blue Ridge

Side question. Are those the stock handlebars on yours?

    tested for heat issues

Think you are spot-on with that. Then once stopped, slowly 1 degree up every so many seconds, I'd guess from the radiant heat coming from the engine.

    how to jack-up F3...

The F3 has a center "rail" that's about 4" wide down the center, and travels from just in-front of the cat (looking from the side) and up to where the swaybar is housed. In the rear I keep the jack just forward of the hinged area on it. (On the ramps... I'm lovin' the Raceramp RR30's. Although...

    tested for heat issues

Speaking of that temp gauge. Where is it taking that external temp reading from? I'd almost like to relocate the sensor to something in the front and low for a more realistic temp of the outside. (The reading it takes must come almost from directly above the engine area) I have also been very...

    how to jack-up F3...

Depending on the task, here is what I had done. Oil Change - Because I want the Spyder level for the drain, I drove it up on my RaceRamps in front, then, used a traditional (large) floor jack at the back of the steel center frame section to lift the rear and place a special/similar height wood...

F3 - Rain Cover for seating

Right....I just wanted something to slap on quick if stopped and rain may be coming to keep by a$$ dry for the ride....

F3 - Rain Cover for seating

Was thinking of the seat configuration.... Possibly I can look at something made for a GoldWing or large cruiser. (And again just for the seat.)
