• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Something new for the winter!!!

Winter is in the air! Myself and Deanna picked up our new sleds at the dealer today! I already had mine, but I wanted to get some accessories installed and Deanna had some accessories added to her sled as well. I got the the Manta green Skidoo Renegade XRS 900 Turbo and Deanna got the Skidoo...

    Duro DP8000 Performa HP1 tires

I don't want to get on a soap box of another tire thread, however I came across these tires from Simple Tire: Dura DP8000 Performa Hp1, Size: 205-55-15 in search of a new rear tire for my F3. I currently run a Kuhmo AST. This is a good tire in dry conditions, but I don't find it to be great for...

    Brand new look

I'll be sure to be on the lookout for these. Thinking about adding a rack with a top case. The BRP OEM top case looks nice, but too much $$$$! The rack you have looks great, but I just am not into the Spider theme on the Spyders myself. An "F3" etched into the rack would look cool too for thoughts!

    Installed Baja Ron swaybar

Thanks! I didn't get much of a chance to ride a lot since I replaced the OEM sway bar out for the Baja Ron bar. However I did get a chance to ride a short distance later yesterday, and I can already feel a difference in the stability of the F3 around the turns and dips in the road. I felt that I...

    Installed Baja Ron swaybar

After riding my F3 for a few years now, I finally decided to update to a better sway bar from Baja Ron. The install wasn't to difficult after I figured out how to raise the front end to be able to do the job. I tend to think out of the box to come up with ideas and sometimes the tools and items...

    Vermont ride with Spyderlover friends

I just came off a week long vacation before returning to work today. Just too short! Anyhow, last Monday August 5th, I met up with Brian (bscrive) and his wife Deb who came down from Ottawa Ontario, through New York and into Vermont. We met up in Alburgh VT and headed to lunch at Warners Snack...

    Midnight ride

When I take the Spyder to work, which is around 3:00 am for me, I find it is the best time to cruise on my 20 mile trek to work. It is cooler, no traffic and just a peaceful ride. I sometimes blast the stereo to try scare off any road critters. The deer is what I have to watch for the most. I...

******* Arc fog lights vs Showchrome vs Lamonster, thoughts ?

Yes, There is a gap between the DRL/fog lights and the cutout for the fog lights on the side panels. It would be nice to have some sort of bezel in place here to give it a more finished look. I can live wit hit though.

******* Arc fog lights vs Showchrome vs Lamonster, thoughts ?

I purchased these from Value Accessories, a sponsor on this site. The installation went real well, as shown in the video. It is all plug and play. Just follow the instructions. These plug into the BRP fog light harness. I can say that these are very bright. The fog lights are connected to a...

    Winter snowmobiling recap

Nice videos! We also wear the clothing that keeps us warm. The heated jackets make a difference in real cold climates. Like you said, snowmobiling keeps us active during the winter months.
