• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Took early retirement after 27 years with Delta Air Lines. Retired on a Thursday.....interviewed with a local Harley Shop on Friday....went to work on Saturday. Shortest retirement ever!!! Didn't expect to get hired so quickly, was planning on having a few months off since it was in the middle...

    I can't get over it~~

I am not a doctor or therapist, but here is what I would do, IMHO.....I would go to a dealership that sells Spyders. And make several visits over however long a time period you would like. Walk around them, around the two wheelers as well. Don't have to sit on them, or get stressed out. When you...

    Rt Floor Boards

Took your advice and emailed John. Got an immediate response. Rhino or Linex would work fine. John said he tried it on his first set but it was too expensive to pass on to his customers. So will give it a try.

    Rt Floor Boards

I commented on another thread some time ago about taking off the vinyl on the Seal floorboards and doing a Rhino or Linex bed liner spray on them. No one commented on it, wondering if there is any reason why I shouldn't?:f_spider:

94 year youngster on Spyder RT

My avatar picture is my 86yr old father-in-law on the back of mine at the north entrance to Yellowstone Park. He followed us in his truck from Helena Mt., his home, to stay with us a couple days in Gardiner. This day we rode to Old Faithful. He absolutely loved it.

    New rider update...

That's exactly what I did when learning to ride my 2 wheeler years ago. I put about 100 miles on in the neighborhood, never getting out of 2nd gear, trying to get used to the turning. The only problem was I was on a LOUD Harley, soo repeated flybys at 10-15miles an hour past the houses on my...

    SHORTEE ANTENNAS

So, I went with the ESI Shortee, chrome, and it looks great. Hopefully no problems with rusting. Worst part was trying to take the OEM off. Was locktite on and didn't have the right tools. But "with a little help from my friends", got it off. The chrome really dresses it up nicely:ohyea::ohyea:

    Mom, Me and Spydee

SAME My avatar picture is my 84yr old father-in-law riding for the first time as well. He met us in Gardiner, MT. and this is the North entrance to Yellowstone Park. He also had a blast on it. Another great reason to own a Spyder. People who have been afraid of riding now have an...

Spyder RT vs Goldwing Trike or Harley Tri Glide

HAVE RIDDEN BOTH Last year HD offered a Street Glide Trike, along with the Tri Glide. I rode it and found you had to be VERY physical with it. Pushing and pulling in cornering and turns. On straight roads, if there were any ruts, I was constantly fighting with it, it kept pulling in the...

    Temperature Tolerance

YEARROUND We live in a temperate climate here in Western Washington. So, we sometimes get 50 degree days in January. Our temps in the winter are in the 40's, sometimes 30's, rarely gets below freezing. So we keep our bikes hooked up to a trickle charger and try to get them out at least once a...

Guidelines for buying a used Spyder

RESEARCH SERVICES DONE FROM DEALER If you have a used one your interested in, ask the seller where he has gotten his service done. The service dept. at the dealership should be able to tell you the history of the maintenance performed on the Spyder. As I have stated before, I work at a HD...
