• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Communicating with Jan on a new RT Limited

Take a good, hard look at your helmet before pulling the trigger on the Uclear: Their combined speakers/microphones are very large. Make sure they fit in your helmet's speaker recessed area. It turned out to be a deal breaker with my Nolan helmet. It would have been my first choice, but they...

Does anybody have an RT (not RT-S or Limited)?

I have a 2011 RT/AC with an SM5. I found that what I liked/needed on the RTS was not worth the money. I ride solo, so I don't need the adjustable suspension. Additional colors were nice but I liked the blue. I also liked the fogs, but figured they could be added for much cheaper than the delta...

    Spare Electrical Power

Tx a lot. I knew someone would have that number. For some reason, I am not surprised that you are the one who answered. :) I already got used to the idea that I would never have that water fountain kit installed, but now I am having second thoughts. I may even get 2 an forget about the...

    Spare Electrical Power

Does any one know what is the max electrical load that can be added to an R/T without overloading the magneto/charging system ? I tried searching the forum and I got tons of hits, but I still was not able to find a straight answer in the dozen of threads. I am looking into auxilliary driving...

Are we the only ones with no motorcycle experience??

I did. 'Took it home after I piçked it ip and used it at the dealer to take the 8 hours Trike license course. I had many years of dirt bike behind me, but no prior street bike experience. Something about the Spyder told me it would be fine. ...Ben...

Bienvenue au Forum. J'ai effectivement fait des randonnées (automobiles) mémorables dans les alpes françaises, Suisses et Autrichiennes. Keep posting pictures. The amazing high altitude scenery is hard to beat. Makes me wish I could rent a Spyder the time I go over the pond. ...Ben...

    Potentially New Ryder...Advice?

My advice is to rent one first and see how you feel. It does take a lot of time on the seat to get fully comfortable if you have a 2 wheels background ( at least afew hundred miles), but if you think you may panic you may not be able to endure it that long. My personal worst experiences at...

That's OK. As you had already finished the install, I was not expecting you to undo all just to probe the wire connectivity. This is just a suggestion to help increase the collective knowledge and give options for those you may want to do do it themselves. Thanks. ...Ben...

    Clutch Question?

Any idea what would explain the specific RPM shift point for an SM5 ? User-induced clutch slippage at release time due to lack of engine torque at low RPM ? In my book, slip & wear only occurs during clutch slippage, while the lever is being released. If the shifts were fast enough, it should...
