• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Hello Colorado Spyder ryders

Hi Brian! I live between Lyons and Estes Park, and am frequently in Loveland. You're right - not many dealers close. Your choice is Cheyenne or RPM Motorsports in Lakewood. I have had great service with them and they are willing to negotiate - especially towards the end of the season. The other...

    DURANGO

It would sure be nice to see a schedule or something. I was buying my Spyder last time the event was in Durango, so couldn't go. I'll be there this year, but would really like to know what is planned and when. Any thoughts? Am I just missing something?

    2014 Owners Event... Who's going?

Oh, I'm so going. Doesn't hurt that I live in Colorado and have friends I can stay with in Cortez. See you there!

    Question

Check battery leads My battery leads tend to vibrate loose, and cause intermittent issues. I'd check those 1st. Once I figured this out, it solve a LOT of problems for me.

Should I buy an ST or keep my GS?

Apparently I'm pretty strong, because last year I didn't know about the DPS recall, and mine started slowly going out, but I didn't notice - it was all so new to me. So, before I got it fixed I was muscling the Spyder around the Colorado mtns. When I got it fixed, it scared me how responsive the...

Should I buy an ST or keep my GS?

Yes, SpyderAnn, it does! On another note, does anyone know if they resolved the heat issues?

Should I buy an ST or keep my GS?

Of course, one can take that logic to it's conslusion and never buy anything because there will always be a new thing. My temptation now is that the price has come down quite a bit. But I also am reluctant to buy the 1st year of anything. One thought is to wait until this time next year when...

Should I buy an ST or keep my GS?

Capt.jim - thank-you so much for your thoughful response. I have a question for you. You say the steering has been resolved - how did you resolve it? The steering is probably my biggest concern moving over to the ST, as it has taken me this long to get up to speed around corners and such on my...

Should I buy an ST or keep my GS?

Okay, all is forgiven. I got my MC license 1st, and then flew to Missouri to pick up my Spyder I bought on Ebay, and then rode it home to Colorado. 700 miles right off the bat. Figured I was going to learn to ride the damn thing one way or the other! nojoke Of course, it would have helped if...

Should I buy an ST or keep my GS?

Snoopy! I can barely get out of my neighborhood in 40 miles. Go ride that thing!! Or better yet, send it to me and I'll break it in for ya!

Should I buy an ST or keep my GS?

Actually, I meant to say ST-Limited. The $20,999 price was for the same model, same color as your Florida dealer, but closer by a thousand miles or so. My bad, but you're right, that is a HOT price. More importantly at this point - are you happy with your ST-L? Did you own a Spyder before?

Should I buy an ST or keep my GS?

Okay guys, I need some feedback here. I've had my 2009 GS SE5 for 1 year and 1 month. I ride. Alot. I've put 15,000 miles on it since I bought it. I added the Corbin seat, Baja Ron sway bar, some highway pegs. No risers. I have the common complaints and loves of my Spyder. My hips and knees...

Who was riding in and around Estes Park this weekend?

I know this should go into the Spyder Sightings thread, but I've never had anyone respond to me there, so I thought I would blast outside the box! I saw more Spyders on our ride down Peak to Peak hwy, Coal Creek Canyon and back up Golden Gate Canyon, then north on Peak to Peak again on Saturday...

    Taking a Trip

Place to stay in Colorado If you or your group need a place to stay in Colorado - I'm half way between Lyons and Estes park, and have a guest suite, and 2 acres if you want to camp. There is a B&B next door to me with 4 rooms as well. I'll offer my suite free, the B&B is reasonable - Little...

Need help with Custom Dynamic handlbar riser installation

I was hoping you'd answer, Scotty. Did that - had all the panels off - wires just went into the black box. The only thing I didn't pull was the frunk.

Need help with Custom Dynamic handlbar riser installation

I'm sure this has been discussed, but I can't seem to find it when searching. I tried to install my Custom Dynamics risers yesterday, and couldn't get enough slack to even get the controls on the left side off the bike. Pulled out instrument panel, and it looks like the wire cluster runs into a...
