• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Kewlmetal fails to communicate

You know, Ron, you are one of the best out there when it comes to customer service, shipping products quickly etc. I understand not wanting to step on each other's toes, but at some point we vote with our dollars. Kewl Metal needs to figure this out, or they won't be around for much longer. Too...

Should I get new shocks (Elkas) for my 2009 GS SE5?

Thank-you guys! Got the anti-sway bar installed today, and rode back up the mountain. Nice, seemingly flat cornering in comparison - SWEET!!! I'll ride this for a bit and decide if I need anything further. Thank-you so much for your advice everyone!!!!!

    Sway Bar and shocks question

I posted a similar question a couple of weeks ago, and followed the advice of the fine people on this forum. Had the Baja Ron anti-sway bar installed this afternoon, and rode back up the mountain to my house. Wow, what a difference. Nice and flat around corners:yes:. I still have the stock...

Should I get new shocks (Elkas) for my 2009 GS SE5?

I learned about the pressure in the tires half way through my trip ryding it from Missouri to Colorado. We stopped for the night, and I thought the Spyder sure was 'twitchy', but figured it was me overstearing like everyone tends to do at the beginning. We sat down and read through the manual...

Should I get new shocks (Elkas) for my 2009 GS SE5?

Nice - I hadn't thought of that. Since I bought my Spyder on Ebay, my Corbin seat on Craigslist, clearly I am not above a little more wheeling and dealing. Great idea, thanks! Mine is Silver - I like the Red

I have to admit I like the idea of wearing out the old ones 1st. How many miles can you expect to get on the stock shocks?

Does anyone need a gas cap?

So, last year I bought my 2009 GS from a guy off Ebay. The transaction went perfectly, I flew back there and rode it home. In January he sends me a note through Ebay that BRP sent him a new gas cap and if he could have my address he would send it to me. Months go by, nothing. I send him a few...
