• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    p1614 not in book?

My bike threw the horrid P1614 code. Thanks to the guys here online, I was sent a service bulletin showing the 4 codes that would dictate a new throttle body. First two times the tech just hooked my bike up to the computer and cleared the codes and supposedly downloaded updates. The third time...

My first real road trip on my RTS

Hey girl, I am the proud owner of a Russel Day-Long seat. It is beautiful. Unfortunately I have "boney butt" syndrome LOL so the first 606 miles (exactly) were rather ouchie. I was wiggling around a lot. After that..........pure heaven! :D The good thing about that seat is it has sides that...

My first real road trip on my RTS

On Nov. 2nd, 11 bikes left Texas at 7:45am. All through Texas I got numb butt. Continued thru Oklahoma and have sore butt....by the time we made it to Arkansas I'm pretty sure I have monkey butt. 11 hrs on a motorcycle Day 1. On to Memphis, TN the next morning. Tired was an understatement...

2013 Spyder ST gets the boot!

When each parking spot is numbered, there is usually a metal box on a pole with a correlating number on little mini boxes (like the P.O. boxes at the Post Office). You take the money and push it through a slot with the same number on it and you are good to go. I am sorry though, that this...

    SHORTEE ANTENNAS

Antenna and rubber boot were stolen from my bike After a long ride with the MC, I pulled into the garage and noticed that someone had stolen my radio antenna AND the rubber boot. Do any of the after market antennas have the rubber boot part as well? The one's I saw at Auto Zone only had the...

Check Engine Light came on AGAIN today ... Bike is shaking and clanging WTH???

Jerbear, no I don't have that warranty. Next month will be 1 year of owning it. How does that warranty work? After paying for the warranty, do I pay the dealership for work done then get reimbursed by the warranty agent? Believe me, I have really been thinking about this lately! As always...

    P1614 code like Fligt Risk's, BUT ....

Mine did the same thing when in neutral......any other gear and it shook/banged/clanged etc. If you push the correct buttons to see what code it is throwing the bike calms down. Until you restart it. It needs the Throttle Body replaced if it throws any one of the 4 codes. Mine just did it again...

Check Engine Light came on AGAIN today ... Bike is shaking and clanging WTH???

@#$#$# dealership! My (not for much longer) dealership just picked up my Spyder. THANKFULLY, this time when I started it up it was doing the clanging/banging/shaking thing in front of one of their techs! As most know I have been trying to get this Throttle Body issue dealt with for several...

Dib, that is exactly the dealership I intend to use. I just need a back way to get there. I don't want any part of I35...190 is bad enough. The MC group I ride with usually takes off most every weekend from Hwy 78 and 544 which should be near you in Wylie. You should join us sometime!

OMG!!!! Check Engine/clanging/noise for the THIRD ^&%#&^%@#% TIME!!!! As Scotty and some other mentioned, it was a matter of "when" not "if" the Throttle Body issue would pop up again.........it did, today!!!!!!! Thanks to Scotty for sending me a "Bulletin" regarding this very matter. According...

    Update charges

I have never been notified of an update. Never. When my gauges failed for the third time, they replaced them and did some updates. When my check engine light came on twice in two weeks, there were updates. If we haven't been in for anything but oil changes, how many updates could we miss out on...

Check Engine Light came on AGAIN today ... Bike is shaking and clanging WTH???

Info on Service Bulletins Help Needed I emailed with Lamont and he isn't sure what you are referring to. Could someone tell me how to locate these "service bulletins" you mentioned? If I asked my dealer about them point blank, he "wouldn't know what I was talking about".

Need ya'lls help with this........again What service bulletin? I really need to know as I just signed up for a 4 day ride in November, from Dallas to Memphis and back. In my joy of the moment I was suddenly reminded of the codes my bike has been throwing, and the joy is fading into fear. How...
