• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Sheepskin seat covers

I bought the Airhawk Medium seat because my rear is "bone on seat" and was looking for some comfort. Obviously I haven't found the right amount of air to use. I am 5' 10" tall and this air seat puts the top of the windshield dead center of my eyes. I kept letting more and more air out but...

    Antennae question

Bubba Jean's is in Bradford, Texas. The first time we all went there my antenna was stolen and I got Montezuma's Revenge! This time, all was good. It's just a little speck in the road type of "restaurant". We have so many riders in our group that sometimes we are limited to where we can stop and...

The Answer To Your Quest For The Perfect Cup Holder

I wonder if the clamp on phone holder could be used from my Zumo 660 on the dash? Does the clamp allow the phone/zumo to clamp on horizontally? Concerned the Zumo might be too heavy...........hummm. What do ya'll think?

Suggestions before I take the '11 to the shop?

Gas guage My original gas gauge looked like a windshield wiper........flipping all over the place. That one was replaced (free) and the second one didn't move at all.....just hung about 1/4-3/8" above the full marker. Dealership finally replaced the entire gauge cluster panel (warranty)......so...

    Opinions on tire pressures

After many tweaks on my 2011 RT-S SE5 I found that 18/28 works perfectly for me. Tightened the shocks and softened the suspension and I was told last weekend by the "Tail Gunner" in our MC that I 'was riding the S*it of of that bike".......huge compliment from him. Corners like a dream now and...

    Original Grip Buddies

The OEM grips on my RT-S SE5 basically suck.......my hands ached all the time. As the bike grips are heated and I didn't want to lose that, I searched high and low for options. A friend of mine turned me on to Original Grip Buddies which are made individually to fit all bike grips. They are...

Fairly new here hope this is not a rerun.

Grips for RT I just ordered a set of Original Grip Buddies. They wrap around the original RT grips. The heated grips will still work. Should receive them Monday or Tuesday and will let you know! I'm tired of hand ache.

    Time to "comfort zone"

I am a 62 year old female owner of a 2011 RT-S SE5. I have ridden all sorts of bikes in my day but that has nothing to do with a Y frame Spyder. I did the white knuckle ride, was tense, was actually afraid of twisties.......probably a bit like your wife at first. I was having a heck of a time...

    RT Gas Mileage

I have started keeping my gas receipts and noting my miles on my trip meter. I also thought this milieage was basically impossible so I've had friends double check my figures. Just to make sure I post my receipt info for others to see if I'm going insane or what!!! I filled up my tank...

    RT Gas Mileage

Gas Mileage high 30's to low 40's mpg I have been griping about my gas mileage compared to that of a full dress Gold Wing. I finally started gentle quick shifting and always use the highest octane possible. My last two tank averages really blew my mind. One tank I got 41 mpg, next tank 44 mpg...

    Shop Manual for RT-S SE5

I wanted a shop manual for my 2011 RT-S SE5. My dealer said it would cost $170.00 which seems a "bit" expensive. Does anyone know of this manual as an online download, DVD, CD......anything? Just would like to have the manual. Thank you

    Gauge Start Question...

Called my dealereship about the same thing. I had my RT in for gauge issues and they had to hook it up to the computer to see what was going on. When I left the shop I noticed the same thing. The oil gauge icon stayed on until I started the bike then it went out. Dealership said it might have...
