• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3-T dash panel turn indidcators - dull

Out of all the bikes I have owned, this is the worst one when it comes to cancelling the turn signals manually. That is really one of the very few complaints I have about this machine. But you're right, having an unintentional turn signal can get you killed. Anyone saying "don't look down" I...

    F3 Vibration

Excellent point. This vibration thing is just about as common as buffeting complaints. I start to think that some people are better off in cars. Convertibles might be an issue though. :roflblack:

    2015 vs. 2016 F3-S

No, they definitely aren't the same bike. There are a few major improvements of the '16 over the '15.

    Oversteer

The F3 has a 450lb weight limit with rider(s) and gear/cargo. Not sure of the shock parameters but more importantly you also have to consider frame tolerances. An RT has a weight limit of 530lbs or so, I think. Again, you have to figure in the riding gear you'll be wearing and any cargo you...

Fox podium 2.0 rear shock settings

Boy, I know I would be upset if I lost a customer that kept bad-mouthing my product. :roflblack:

    F3 Vibration

This is not just directed at you but everyone with this issue: you all KNEW it was a first gen product. Same engine, tried and proven, but on a completely different platform. Every first gen release will have bugs. You're experiencing the bugs. Yes a company "should" fix problems with their...

    F3 and Knees

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in early 2014, that's what brought me from over 20 years on two wheels to can am. I have an F3 Limited SS and I honestly have never been more comfortable on a motorcycle in my life... MS or not. I tell everyone that stops me that even without the MS, if...

    LED bike accents

Can anyone recommended a good set or brand of LED accent lights/strips, like the 8 or 10 piece strips with remotes? And thanks in advance if you suggest some of the sponsors here... Not my kind of thing. I had my last bike accented nice with a great set but I can't remember the brand.

    Rear shock PSI ?

I hear ya on that! I felt like a real tool after making a point (by mentioning it three times and being told: "Relax, we got it.") to tell the dealer my weight and all so they could set the rear pressure and when I got the bike home it was never touched and at zero psi. I made it a point of...

    F3 gas cap issue?

This is an excellent piece of advice and works every time! Well said, thank you!

    15/16 Changes

I couldn't agree more! No one expected the F3T to be this popular and this excellent of a machine. As far as the RT being ugly... looking at it from the side it looks like a big corrective shoe. It's profile looks like one big mold of plastic, no thanks.

Ah, you're being cheap now. I want to see for myself. So, if you stand by your position then plunk down the money and show me. :)

    15/16 Changes

I'll definitely give the sway bar a try, go ahead and buy one for me. Experiments are always sponsored so go ahead and provide the materials and I'll report back what I think. Oh yeah... and don't forget the labor for installation. :2thumbs:

    15/16 Changes

You're actually paying a lot more for a superior riding experience and the technology they put into it. Shame on them for not planning on what to do with your helmet when you stop somewhere to walk around. The F3T/Limited, to me, gives a far superior riding experience over the RT. Like I said...

    15/16 Changes

The F3T and Limited is NOTHING like an RT except that they both have three wheels and a fairing: that's about it. To each his own, though. I know people love the RT but I don't know how people ride them. They feel like you're sitting on a bar stool at a dinner table. And the inertial...

    15/16 Changes

I've heard that too. But once you see, feel and ride an F3T or Limited the difference becomes wildly apparent. With everything i am hearing about shock and frame issues on the '15 I would much rather go for the improvements, just in that area alone, of the '16.
