• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Welcome Pack

Well we got our Spyder in Sept and have yet to receive it. I'm wondering if it's dealer dependent and our dealer didn't do something that triggers it. But at least one of you said it too 5 months so guess we should just sit back and wait.

    Welcome Pack

What is this welcome pack everyone keeps mentioning? We have not received anything that sounds like a welcome pack. Should we? Or is this something that's been dropped or dealer dependent?

    re bike lifts/jacks

I got a OTC to use on my Harley. Got some Sealboards for the Spyder so tired it out. Worked just fine. I could move the whole thing with ease. I got the OTC hoping it might not be made in China like the Harbor Freight but it is. However I think it's much heavier constructed and half the price of...

    Fuel Stabilizer

I buy 300 gallons of gas and diesel at a time and have always used Sta-Bil until this year. I switched to Pri-G and Pri-D. Cost less and stabilizes longer and has a better mix ratio for my situation and storage. http://www.priproducts.com/consumer_products.cfm My fuel provider is still able to...

I live on a gravel road. What do you recommend?

There are more dirt and gravel roads in Texas than any place I've been. Darn cheap state!!! I live down one and worry about this all the time. Think we are getting the belt guard but I really wonder if it will do that much good. That's a long darn belt just asking for something to happen. I'm...

    Bike or Trike

I was just wondering. I just call the thing a Spyder most of the time. But to me it is a trike. Has three wheels and isn't a bike with sidecar. I also just figured everyone is so used to saying and typing "bike" they don't think to say or type "trike". Like I said, was just wondering.

    Bike or Trike

Why do so many refer to their trike as a bike?:lecturef_smilie: Bad habit, shame, what? I read some of these posts and see the word bike and have to re-read to see if they are indeed talking about a Spyder and not some bike.:banghead: Just curious.:dontknow:

    ARRIVED DFW TX

Shoot, 80mph is common practice around here. Wonder what ticked him off to stop you. Maybe he just wanted to look at your Spyder.

why not a dual-sport on & off road Spyder ??

Would probably need a chain or drive shaft. Fact is I wish it had a drive shaft. Just to get out of my place I have to go down 2 miles of gravel and dirty so I'm constantly worrying about that belt.

Flag poles and mounts from ISCI

Does anyone have a picture of the TALL flag poles and mount from ISCI. Their web page doesn't have one and before I spend that kind of money I'd like to see what I'm getting. That doesn't seem very professional on their part not to have a picture of a product they sell. Or maybe they haven't...

WHY I JOINED the PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS

The reward you get when the family members come around and shake the hand of each and every member is awesome. You know you've touched them in a way that can not be described. I've only been doing PGR missions for a year now but the PGR gave me some level of pride back. You see back in 66 I did...

Maybe they were testing to see if the fuel line leaks I've been reading about is a potential hazard. Rough way to find out it is.
