• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderfest: Anyone headed towards/through St. Louis on Sunday the 29th

I am flying to/from my first Spyderfest this year due to life/logistical reasons and before I secured other transportation, I thought I'd check to see if anyone is headed to/through St. Louis who might be willing to give me a ride back to the airport sometime on Sunday (I haven't booked my...

Is it still considered Spyder stalking....

Arr, at least you are stalking an actual vehicle - I find myself stalking THIS website when I should be working. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

BRP Demo day in May at Concord Mills Mall Parking lot

KipDM - I should have my Spyder by then and am in Durham, so might be interested in riding down there with you. My brother lives just south of Charlotte so I'll probably spend some time with him and his family that weekend, but would love to meet some of the Carolina Spyder crew!

Spyderlady Linda Had A Spill Today

Glad you are okay and I am sure your Spyder will be fine too after Len and his crew look at it! As I read your recap of what happened, became apparent that we ALL need to trust our intuition to stop when its tells us we should stop!

This is so not Spyder related!!!

Also check out Square.com as they have iPad and iPhone apps and you can scan cards and save some "discount points". Plus there is NO monthly fee and no contract. If you go for a more traditional "merchant" account there is a monthly fee, sometimes a gateway fee and in certain cases (depending...

Suggested places Raleigh, Durham area to try on gear...

Craig, thanks for the suggestion. I stopped in on Saturday and when I asked the guy for help with the helmets, he was like what do you want to know? I'll give it another try this week and maybe will get someone who can be more helpful. Thanks!

Suggested places Raleigh, Durham area to try on gear...

Greetings all - looks like I'll be joining the ranks of the Spyder owners in the next six weeks or so, which means is time to start spending money on gear. Looking for physical stores where I can go and try on gear (helmets, jackets, gloves). Looking for a place that has a helpful sales staff...

    P90X

I did 6 months of it - two cycles - pretty faithfully back in late 2010 early 2011 and I the only negative thing is that I stopped for a week and have struggled getting back in the routine. The thing that I really liked about it is that it IS about pushing yourself as much as possible but not...

Looking for a family gathering recommendation in the southest...

I have been put in charge of coordinating a family gathering this summer (2 grand parents, a mom and dad with a 4 year old, a single mom with a 6,4 and 2 year old) and myself (single guy and proud uncle). We are not 'exactly' an outdoor family so things like camping/hiking trips probably...

Any RS drivers in the Durham/Chapel Hill area willing to help me out...

Afternoon - I hope anyone who already has a Spyder plans to ride over these next couple of days! I will be riding in my mind! Anyway, I am in the final throws of planning for the arrival of my RS (exact date to be determined). I have a one car garage and have a plan how I'll be able to park...

    Did You or Didn't You?

When I get a Spyder (next 2-3 months) it will be my first motor-propelled-open-cockpit-doorless vehicle.

Computer/network tech support questions.... ask away...

Agreed and I almost feel like there ISN'T a place to have this particular debate since no one can possibly ever actually win! Differences of opinion are one of the things that make this wonderful world go around!! I mean if people didn't have different ideas about stuff - we'd all...

Computer/network tech support questions.... ask away...

Sadly in my experience this is MOSTLY a marketing misconception. I spend a fair amount of time working on Macs that my clients use. There are two things I like to mention to people when this topic comes up: (1) If Macs are "troublefree" why is the Genuis Bar always soooo busy? (2) The fact...
