• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sena Firmware Update and the SM10 Dual Transmitter is out

Sorry you had so much trouble. Since we've had our headset, I've gone through both of these updates. Went smooth and done in about 2 minutes. Also our friend doesn't have internet so he brought his set up. Since his was a different model, I had to download the SPH10 manager, but it also...

    Riding two up.

I see you are riding a RS. I started with an RS and am now riding a RT. On the RS, I would find when we stopped, I was falling forward. And I was holding on. (I PROMISE!) My problem was that the RS put my feet behind me so I was already kind of leaning forward. My hubby made floor pans that...

Looking for info on helmet tunes

You install them yourself in your helmet of choice. There are different styles for different helmet types. The install is quick and easy. They sell them as a single headset or in pairs. Price is usually around $180 for a single to $300 for a pair. I spent some time searching internet stores...

Looking for info on helmet tunes

Hi Dave. Welcome to the forum. My husband and I use the Sena SMH10. One of our friends got the Sena unit for his 1/2 helmet. We can talk to each other individually or we can all talk together as a conference conversation. We have 3/4 helmets and although there is some wind noise, we don't...

    New 2012 RTS-SE5 Owner questions?

:congrats: on the spyder! I don't go by the gas gauge. I set my trip each fill up and since I average 30 to 32 miles per gallon, I know that at 90 miles, I've used about 1/2 a tank, etc and will fill up between 120 and 150 miles. Hope you have as much fun with your spyder as I do mine!

Sena Firmware Update and the SM10 Dual Transmitter is out

Yes, they are pricey, but we shopped around and found ours on sale. They have been worth it for me. It gives me a peace of mind to be able to communicate with my hubby. We gave them a workout on our 2 week vacation and another of our group got the sph10 set to wear with his half helmet. The...

    Radio humming

Don't know if the issue you have, but the other day my radio started playing static. When we finished our ride, we discovered that the antenna had come loose. We tightened it up and that fixed it. You might check this connection.

Roadster RT TCM Calibration Update 2012-10 (SE5 Models):

When I had my RS, it would usually down shift when I was accelerating out of a curve and it would throw me back and I would twist the throttle and not mean to. This would make for a bad ride for the moment. The first thing I noticed about the RT was that it hardly ever down shifted on it's own...

THANK YOU to Faran and Spyderlovers

We got to Colorado Saturday. Rode from Canon City to Cripple Creek to Colorado Springs and back to Canon City today. All was well until we got back and stopped at Wal Mart. When we started up, I got a check engine light. I had printed out Can Am Spyder dealers before we left and started...

How Many Spyder's have you owned.

I was a non-ryder as of July of last year. I wouldn't even ride behind my husband on his motorcycle. A casual comment by me that I might could handle a trike had hubby shopping. So.. 2009 RS SE5 that was traded in a month later for a 2011 RT SE5 And the rest as they say is history!
