• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Power Steering Unit/Hunt & Peck

Got a call last evening from the dealer, that the Power Steering needs to be replaced. It's giving too much input at driving speeds and shouldn't. According to BRP, that's what's giving me the hunt and peck feeling while on a straight road. Dealer tech finally took mine for a spin and stated...

    600 Mile Check Up-Date

Previously - At the dealer now for 600 mile check and a small list of tweeks and warranty work. The big one is the alignment. Hope they get it right this time, it still hunts and pecks on a straight road. Replacing the Analog Gauge Cluster and the Trailer Lid. Up-Date - Everything taken care...

    600 mile check

Yes they do. They checked once before but, I say it's still out. I was fortunate to have a BRP Tech meet up with me at a Benefit Ride last Sunday and he said "from behind it looked out" and it should not hunt and peck on a straight road. He also works for the dealer. He also said that he will...

    Bouncing Fuel Gauge

As I understand it, both the Analog Fuel and Water Temp Gauges must be disconnected in order for them to appear Digitally. You can't just disconnect one. Again, that's how I understand it. Remember, the Base Model RT doesn't have analog gauges. Read Previous Post from spyder_RT from...

    Front tire diameter?

I was told, by the dealer, that the factory front tires are designed to flex. Changing them to a car tire will change the characteristics and handling greatly. That's what I was told, how true that is, is another story. However, the REAR TIRE can be changed to a car tire. Just my 2 cents.

Congratulations on your new Spyder. My brakes make a noise also. Sounds like a scraping noise. Not sure if it's normal or not. I will have my dealer look at them and see what's up.

    antenna continually loosening

If it continually loosens, I don't think lock tight is the answer. Take the antenna off, put a star washer in place of the stock washer. Don't worry if you loose the stock washer it will find it's way out. That should do the trick, did on mine. Good Luck
