• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I had missed your earlier post (and pics) ...I see now where you did the install yourself. I'm not sure I would know how to do this install on my own. How difficult is it? Steps?

Did you move it to the rear trunk (yourself) or did you have a Can Am tech do it (dealership)? Your fix seems simple except that I wouldn't begin to know how to move it and make connections. I'd love to try this (move my SM10 to the rear) to see if that fixes my problems. Sent from my SCH-I545...

Also, I believe that your GPS talks to your headset directly as well (without the SM10). I think I'm right about that. The SM10 just sends the radio system to the headsets. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

You need the dongle so both headsets can listen to the radio system :-) Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I have had problems and am still having problems. Sena exchanged the units (SM10 & both SMH's) and I still have the same problem. If the SM10 is on, the drivers headset and passenger headsets distort when in intercom mode about every 10 mins or so. They will be distorted for about 20-30 secs...

Treadwear on rear tire of 2014 RT ...what's expected life?

Did you not have an issue with reinstalling the wheel? I've heard that the rear wheel alignment is a big deal...that CanAm dealerships use a laser? And getting the belt tension just right etc. ? Thanks again.

Treadwear on rear tire of 2014 RT ...what's expected life?

Thanks for all your responces...this is very helpful. Sorry so many of you had the same poor tire treadwear...and some of you even worse than mine...I thought 7k was bad :-( One more question for this thread: have any of you changed your tire yourself? I mean is a CanAm dealership the only...

Treadwear on rear tire of 2014 RT ...what's expected life?

Thanks for that info on the car tire. I will explore that option. I'm wondering, what do we do when we have a flat. I just talked to a friend at the Goodyear place and he said they will not work on the CanAM. Said they don't even have the equipment for that tire. Yikes!!! It would be a bad...

Treadwear on rear tire of 2014 RT ...what's expected life?

What kind of millage should I get on the rear tire of my 2014 RT? It has almost no tread left in the center of the tire. At 6000 mi I noticed it was significantly worn ...and now at 7000 mi it's practically bare. I have kept check on the air pressure and it has been at 28 lbs constant (per...

    AM radio antenna

Just wondering if anybody else has had this problem: I'm riding along on my 2014 RT Limited, listening to a local AM radio station (very close ...not a distant station), when I begin to get a lot of interference. To make a long story short: I eventually realized the problem is my antenna. As...

Drive belt vibration above 65 mph on 2014 RT

Thanks Ben for the tip on the Gates Sonic Tension Meter. Any chance you would have handy a link? Also curious if you had the same vibration issue (above 65 mph)? And what model Spyder do you have?

I'm also wondering if BRP is aware of this ...seems like this is not uncommon!

Drive belt vibration above 65 mph on 2014 RT

You are describing exactly what I've experienced (as I mentioned at the first of this thread). It's the same thing. And mine was doing it at 2000 miles as well so I feel sure it was doing this from the factory. My problem is that I got my Spyder from a dealership that is 600 miles away. If I...

Drive belt vibration above 65 mph on 2014 RT

Thanks for the advise gang. I really appreciate it. But I'm still wondering if warranty will make an adjustment on the belt? Has anyone had experience with your warranty covering the belt tension? Because if I'm going to have to pay the dealership to adjust the belt (on a practically brand...

Vibration at 67-75 MPH on F3-S

My 2014 is just barely broke in good ...and has the belt vibration at 65-75. Does BRP warranty cover this? Like you say, the vibration is annoying for sure. And I figure that vibration over time can't be good for the bike?

Drive belt vibration above 65 mph on 2014 RT

My 2014 Spyder RT Limited only has 4000 miles. It runs flawlessly until I get on the Interstate above 65 mph and there is an intermittent vibration. I was shocked the first time it happened. I read on Spyderlovers forum and figured out that it has to do with the drivebelt vibration and talked...
