• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Your Spyder - What Year, Model, Miles, Issues... ??

2010 Black RT SE 6500 miles, losing oil for a while, chalked it up to not knowing how to ride properly. No probs lately, except it is so friggin hot in Fla, the fans come on and the heat hits my inner thighs. Not the best for 90+ degree florida heat, but it is just awesome from October...

    RT Limited - Frustrated

I too get a lot of engine heat where the seat meets the glove box, very uncomfortable on my inner thighs. I notice it when I'm in traffic stopping and starting frequently, but on the open road, it isn't there. Sorry you are having issues. I had oil "disappearing" for a while and not it seems...

    Oil Question

I use the can-am oil, don't want to screw anything up. Roadster is too expensive to go cheap with maintaining it. IMHO

    Are we crazy??

Not Nuts We happened into an RT last year, I had never been on a motorcycle and never plan to be. When I saw the Spyder, I was drawn to it immediately. My initial reason was safety, as an RN had seen too many bad outcomes from folks on motorcycles. The Spyder is infinitely more visible...

Love my spyder!!!! Sharon, I have an RT and just stand on the peg and swing my legs over. I'm short and fat and don't have any problem, it is very stable and easy on/off. Sometimes I hit my foot on the back handlebar, but not a big deal.

Are we the only ones with no motorcycle experience??

Another Newbie I never rode a motorcycle in my life until we had the opportunity to get a spyder from a very sick friend. Had to take the motorcycle class which I almost failed. Have put 2,500 miles on it this winter and my car will probably sit in the garage until the heat gets too much to...
