• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Power Steering Unit

Tea6638, Are they installing a complete new power steering unit? If so, what kind of steering problems were you having? I'm still having some problems keeping mine in a straight line, too much wandering. Also occasionally feel a very slight break-over resistance when steering. Anyway let us know...

Limp Home............I was already at home

Same thing happened to me. Called the dealer, he said to trailer it in. They couldn't find anything wrong, cleaned most of the connectors and test rode it. Called me to come and get it, so far nothing else has happened. Dwight

    Rear tire wear?

I dropped my psi to 24 and have ridden about 1000 miles. Seems to be wearing on the outside edges now. It looks like this is going to help. I'm about 1/3 of the way on a 2 week vacation so I'll know if it works by the time I'm home. Dwight

    Rear Shock

Damn! It just ticks me off to see this happening. You know when they outsource something and it doesn't work that the corrected part is a long ways down the road. If they would have used good quality parts bought from long establihed manufactures at the quantity discounts they should be able to...

    Need a little help...

IWN2RYD It appears you may have a clutch issue, but make sure you are not holding the throttle open a little. When I first rode mine I had this problem then noticied that I was not letting go of the throttle. Because it is fly by wire there is very little resistance, particulary in the lower...

    Rear tire wear?

What kind of rear tire mileage are you guys getting? How about tire pressure? Mine's at 27psi. At 5300 miles the center tread of my tire isn't looking too good. Looking at the tire it looks like it should be wearing on the edges not the center. Normally for center of tire wear you would think...

    Sway bar?

Nevermind guys. I figured it out last night. It is not too tough of a job. You don't need to go to all of the trouble that the shop manual says. If any of you are going to do this let me know and I can give you some tips on how to to it. I'll finish it tonight, need a couple of screw clamps to...

YOU PEOPLE ARE SCARING ME TO DEATH

I'm as guilty as anyone about posting problems on the forums. But, this is where you get answers! The service reps and techs don't get much time to discuss things with us so this is the next best thing. Keep in mind that even with the problems I've had the odo is showing around 5300 miles. This...

    Sway bar?

Got my new sway bar for the RT from Evo. Anybody have some tips on installing it, didn't come with any instructions. Shop manual says to remove front storage trunk, gotta be an easier way than that. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Dwight

    Rear Shock

Sorry Coolbreze, but I don't think your dealer has a clue. Try this, let all of the air out of your air bag, then push down on the passenger grab handle and let go. If it tops out (bang) it's toast. Better ask him to order one for stock so you won't have to wait so long. Dwight.

    Rear Shock

I told my service writer that they better get in a stock of the rear shocks cause their gonna need em. I'd prefer not to spend more money on Elkas but if I have to I guess I will. I don't have much confidence in the new one lasting very long. Dwight
