• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RT's sold out?

Was at my dealer today (Reno's in KC) and the sales people told me that they were sold out of RT-S models and had one Safety and Convience model left to sell. According to them when they tried to re-order more they were told they wouldn't be any more until the release of the 2011 model! Next...

    Windshield

I think Dave01 removed his windshield to powder coat the mounting brackets. I think there's a thread on here somewhere, try a search for it. Dwight

    Foot Brake

Nope, been busy and haven't had it out. Should be able to check it out this weekend. Gotta work Monday and then I think we're gonna take a ride down along the eastern border of Oklahoma, maybe over into Arkansas. Some roads we aint been on down there so thought we'd check it out. Hoping to have...

    Gas odor

I've had this problem also. Tank doesn't have to be full. Pulled into the garage with maybe 50 miles on the tank. Smelled the gas pretty strong. Dwight

    Help with riding habit

I have some other problems going on with mine but so far the only way I can get around a corner smoothly is slowing down a bit before the corner and then adding throttle all the way around it. If you let off of the throttle the bike will stand up and want to turn in. This makes the single turn...

    Foot Brake

Thanks Babymoose! I've done that a lot on the HD trikes I built. Pushed the pedal down as far as I could then used a commercial black rubber stretch cord to hold it down. Just didn't remember it:D. Thanks for the reminder! Dwight

    CB Installation (Graphic Pictures WARNING!)

Just had mine installed at the shop. Couldn't believe how much they had to take apart!! It looked just like yours. Dwight

    Foot Brake

Maybe not exactly what everyone else is talking about but I do have a question. I had a close encounter with a deer on the way to have my CB and GPS installed. I was instantly grabbing for the front brake while moving my foot to the pedal. Old habits die hard! I was hard on the pedal (it was...

    Steering alignment - Shop Manual

Nope. Nothing was said about it and I didn't think to ask. I usually buy the printed edition cause it's easier to use in the shop. I'll probably still buy the printed one to use in the shop and study the CD. Scotty, something I just thought about. Maybe we should check to see if there is...

    Steering alignment - Shop Manual

Scotty, that kind of shoots that down. However I think toe in is the problem. I've always run a little toe out, very much toe in resulted in the same problems we are having with the RT. Do the sensors work off of the tie rods? I haven't been under mine to see how everything is hooked up. Maybe...

    Steering alignment - Shop Manual

I have a new CD shop manual ordered from eBay for my RT-S. I am suffering from the same handling problems as Scotty and PalmBeachRyder. I was wondering if any of you that already have the CD shop manual could post what steps are involved in doing a front end alignment. I'm really thinking this...

Wanted: Your input on RT-S windshield replacement

Scotty is right again! On our recent ride down to Arkansas we rode through about 25 - 30 miles of medium rainfall. Wife complained about the back of her neck, actually her hair, being wet. Also the back of her jacket above where the backrest ends was dirty. The RT sucks up the rain and mud from...

    Disappointment

Scotty, I think you are absolutely correct about the handling. I've adjusted my front shocks up to max settings, added air to the front tires, and adjusted rear suspension to max also. Two up, doesn't help much. I'm at the point of seeing if front alignment needs work. The handling on this...

    I-Pod Connection

Thanks for the reminder Scotty, I never got either cable. I did get the big cover, traded it back to them for the travel cover. Used it in AR last week, works good, still a little large to carry. I may leave it home on our big trip, space will be at a premium. Dwight

    RT-S handling

Thanks Westgl, That's the information I've been hoping for! I need to add them to my favorites so I can keep on checking to see when it's available. Thanks again Dwight

    I-Pod Connection

I guess they must have forgotten it. I checked the front zippered storage and it wasn't there. My CB was supposed to arrive last week, I'll call them Tuesday and see if it came in and also ask about the missing cord. Still won't get the comm system working though, when I was there a week ago...

    I-Pod Connection

I was checking out the plugins in the rtrunk. Found the 12 volt one easy, but the other one I found has me baffeled. I thought it was for the I-Pod. If it is I didn't get a cord to connect with. It looks like a port for head sets. They just handed me the I-Pod, it wasn't in the rtrunk. Should I...

    RT-S handling

Thanks Wheeler, RT specific would be nice. Wouldn't have to do the trial and error method. Downside is the expense. I was thinking about trying to buy a front shock and using it as a pattern to search through some of my racing catalogs. Lots of different adjustable shocks with coil over springs...

    RT-S handling

Nancy’s Toy, You hit the nail right on the head! We are just back from a day of riding in Arkansas. On my CSC/Ultra all you have to do to corner well is to set up for the corner, shift your weight, turn, add throttle, and hang on. On the RT you have to be, as Scotty says “On Your Game” all the...

Any RT's in the KC Metro area?

I don't know if you could consider Topeka to be KC Metro but my dealer is Reno's Powersports and I've been there pretty often:clap: Let me know what you have in mind and I'll see if I can help you out. Dwight
