• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Goodbye Mick Jaguar

Very sorry for your loss. We have six right now - and lost our original three not long ago (one a year for three years). You never forget & the pain is never gone completely...but, it does get better.

    Spyder Sightings

Did you happen to ryde down toward Red Lion the other day? Unfortunately, we haven't had much riding time lately. Spent two weeks in Scotland & that ate up a good bit of fall. We're going to try to ride this Sunday - if weather cooperates.

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

I've named mine Floyd (as in Pink Floyd). It's currently red, but will eventually be painted an autumn orange. But, I think his name will still be Floyd!

    R/C Toy spyder

Found two yellow & one red in our closest Wal-Mart. I wanted the red - but, after I looked at it several times discovered some blemishes on parts of the Spyder. Box was not damaged....just looked like poor quality pieces were used to build this one. They did tell me that they have seven more...

    Spyder Sightings

Didn't actually see the Spyder Was heading north on I-83 Friday afternoon - heading from York to Harrisburg. I was on my red SE5 and saw a rider going south with his hand raised as high as he could waving over the jersey wall. I'm assuming he was on a Spyder since he was so enthusiastic. I...

    right leg heat. ouch

Nope. I have worse left side heat than right. And it's pretty bad. My dealer wrapped my left side pipe but it didn't seem to make much difference. Not sure what to do with it now.

    Spyder Sightings

MD 695 We were heading north toward Baltimore on 695 (coming from Annapolis) in slow moving traffic. We were in my Pilot & not on our bikes. Saw an orange RS riding in the opposite direction of us on the outer loop about 5pm around exit 16. We assumed it was a new 2011 due to the...

    Left sided heat

Only about 1800 miles on it. Not that much. My hubby is going to try to look at it sometime soon (when he gets a little free time).

    Left sided heat

So - were your gaskets bad and that was what was causing the heat? Or did you replace Spyder gaskets that were essentially fine with a different type (I've seen mention of other "brands"...like for Honda) and that is what helped? My dealer said my gaskets were ok when they checked them. I was...

    Left sided heat

I'm hoping for suggestions. Earlier this ryding season I started noticing that my SE5 was putting off way too much heat - primarily on the left side where my leg rests on the panels. On a day that was probably in the low to mid 80's we were stuck in stop & go traffic. I had to pull over &...

    Wheel Mod: Which looks better?

    Test drive

We drive an hour to get to our dealer in Hanover, PA even though we have one a bit closer. Got a better feel from the Hanover shop. That being said...our first test ride was in the parking lot of this dealer. We had to have a motorcycle endorsement and had to sign the usual BRP waiver saying...

    HOT - HOT - HOT

Left side heat I've been having heat on both sides - but, have noticed it more on the left. It wasn't this bad at first. We took about an hour ride & got stuck in some very slow moving traffic. I had to get off the bike and check my left leg - it felt like it was blistering. So, no blisters...

    Carlisle Bike Fest

My husband was interested in one for his Suzuki. I was also interested to see how it would be for a Spyder. I'm also considering a Corbin seat/bag set up (though, some of the negative reviews on here have me reconsidering). A friend of ours got an Ultimate for his Valkyrie and loves it!

    Carlisle Bike Fest

Well - after watching the weather on the news & looking at the predictions on line....we have decided to skip the bike fest this year (again). :-( Bummed, but...I don't do well in heat, my Spyder puts off a LOT of heat on it's own, we really don't want to spend money on any bike accessories...

    Carlisle Bike Fest

We bought our Spyder from Motosports, too. Last September. Dealt with Ryan a lot. He's a good guy & very knowledgeable. They treated us well when I had my 600mile service done. I am waiting on a call from Ryan right now - need to ask him if the heat I am feeling on both sides (but, especially...
