• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Installed the Elka

We will have to disagree.. The stock shock is junk and the specs say the f3 has a usable load of just over 400 lbs. there is no preload on the Sachs oem and I am well under the the useable load of the machine and therei may as well not have been a shock on it. There are many other (avg )...

    I have a long butt

Seat options Hi all, well now that the suspension is finished I will move on to the seat.. Over the years I have tried all sorts of aftermarket seats... The overwhelming majority of stocks seats I have rode on have been absolutely junk. The F3s seat is not bad but it's not built for...

    Installed the Elka

No bottoming out, rebound control, better control... Again, the Sachs and upgraded Fox shock only have a 360lb or so spring according to Fox. When you add the weight of a avg weight rider riding 1 up and add the mass of the machine, you are already overloading the spring now if you are a...

    Installed the Elka

The 1k Fox upgrade is a waste if your in need or a higher spring rate as they told me that it has the same springing as the Sachs oem... Call Elka and let them build one for you. My custom stage 2 was 500 bucks mark

    Installed the Elka

Hi i have the stage 2 and it is a beast compared to the junk Sachs oem... I was told the the Sachs and the Fox upgrade both have a 360 lb spring, barely addaquit for for the mass of the machine itself. I gave them my weight and they have a equation they enter it into and it tells them what...

    Installed the Elka

Hi all Well I checked the service manual and installed my new Elka rear shock with custom spring.... The manual is not correct and the bolts are of kind of a pain in the butt to get a ratchet and wrench on.. The stock shock really is a POS and cheaply made. The Elka is a beast in comparison...

    Urban rack

Put a couple wraps of electrical, tape around the two tabs... It tightens it up and no more rattling around... Shame for the cost this has to be done... mark

    Urban rack

Hi i have one and it's a nice place to store gloves, sunglasses, etc.... The only problem is that mine fit very sloppy! I had to wrap some electrical tape around the tabs to stop the rattling. As much as it cost, very disappointed in the lack of quality control mark

    F4 vs Madstad windshield

If I had the opportunity, I would add the madstad bracket for adjustability and the F4 shield for their clarity and durability. F4 shields are tops when it comes to having a clear field of vision and you can clean them with being worried about scratching the hell out of it with something as...

    F3 shock R&R

Hi all, my new Elka rear shock has arrived and I want to swap it out asap. Can anyone spread any light on removing the old one? Is it fairly straightforward? Torque values? what is the best way to support the frame while removing the shock? mark

    motorcycle tire conversion

A clear case of form over function..... A m/c tire is designed and constructed for specific stresses, conditions, and loads. To swap an auto tire with a m/c tire just does not make sense. You will have less contact, probably a lower load rating, and will wear the center strip ... mark

    F-3 1330 engine performance

I would ask this idiot at the dealership if they ever heard of the MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY ACT OF 1975 and then take my business somewhere else... Seriously, they make a veiled threat of not honoring your warranty because of your choice of oil branding. If the oil you choose meets the...

What year RT stabilizer bar fits the F3???

The stock OEM swaybars for the RT and F3 have different part numbers... Curious how the aftermarket bars can be interchangeable? mark
