• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Do upgraded shocks on the f3's make a significant difference for noral street riding

    Hi Darrell, the he oem rear shock is garbage as it is so under sprung, it can barely hold its own weight... Why Mother BRP and other manufacturers cheap out on such a vital part that so closely affects a riders experience and opinion amazes me... Call Elka and have them build you a shock...

    I would agree... The mount position does not change from bike to bike. It would be soooo much easier for the manufacturer to drill the holes with the aid of a jig instead of relying on the customer to do it.... I will pass, to bad as it looked interesting mark

    Buffeting....

    I have been riding 40 years and I don't have a problem with wind in my face. I now wear a full face lid ( injury stats do not lie) and even with it, the BR shield is trash.. At 60 - 80mph, the buffeting is so bad it is like my head is attached to a jackhammer guess i am I am not a tough guy...

    Start up RPM

    Hi all, My F3S at start up jumps to anywhere from 2300-3000 rpm. I thought this was a bit much for a cold engine and called a local platinum dealer. The rep told me that this was somewhat normal.... what at do you think.? He did say that mother BRP was well aware of the vibration issue but...
