• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I did this fix last weekend, been putting it off! I was having the aluminum side panels piowder coated so killed two birds.. This is a lot of work and a lot of bits. Unbolt coils and oil tank top mount and pull the tank back a couple of inches Once the frunk is off (6 bolts and several...

    Trunk lights

Hi, I am convinced I saw what looked like LED strip lights turn, tail and stop in a strip that mounts under the lip of the trunk lid. These were not the ones that mount just below the lid, but actually in the recess so when the trunk is closed and the lights off they are virtually invisible...

New Ceramic & Carbon Fiber on RT

Frank, Looks great so much better than chrome (IMHO). I probably missed an earlier post, but are these just the stock items coated? If so where did you get them done? The only advantage of Canadian winters is it gives plenty of time to make mods. Thanks, SteveO

    TricFenderz on RT?

Try Radiantz.com they have flexible arrays in different colors that can be joined within in one outer tube to provide amber at the front and top and red to the rear. The tubes are about 0.325 wide with 3M tape. I have not tried these, but was thinking they would look good in or over the...

    Vibration

Vibration update Having had the vibration from new the dealer adjusted the stabilizer bar and the vibration has mostly gone. There is still a little left which confims to me that it is the bar. I now find I have more idle vibration at start-up so guess there must be a "happy" point in the...

    Vibration

Vibration cure Had the Spyder serviced and DPS replaced Friday. Took along a copy of this thread. After calling BRP the dealer adjusted the stabilizer rod and the vibration which I have had from new (some 3000m) has gone. They could see no signs of cantact between the bar and frame. SteveO

    Vibration

Thanks for the info. Hearing this makes sense as the vibration is like beating on the frame. I will have the dealer look when I take it in this Friday. Steve

    Vibration

Yes I have it too. I like your analogy to driving over a grate that exactly describes it. Did a search on vibration and it sounds like a belt issue, sure feels like one. I have had since new and the only way to mitigate is to change the revs. Now have 5,000 miles. Booked into dealer for...

Zumo wiring harness Did this last week with a Zumo 550 no difference in installation There is a plug behind the top of the right side box. It is just hanging there. The dummy plug had me confused for a while! What did cause me a trip to the Source (Radio Shack) was I had a male plug on the...

    Finally found replacement Gauges

Gauges http://www.dakotadigital.com/ I have used these gauges for years and have survived on many Harleys. If you are OK with digital display they are fully water and vibration proof. Same issue with sensor for pressure being NPT. They even do combination gauges (2 in 1) if you want...
