• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Chrome fetish

Well that wont work. Just went and checked and I believe the chrome/satin piece that I speak of is all made together which makes it about 4 foot long. Doubt anyone would want to swap those out. Not to mention it would have to come from a black bike in order to work.

    Chrome fetish

Chrome The parts I was describing are where the fog lights are. The covers that have Can Am on them. Mine are black. As for the Mouthpiece, I will have to go look and see if mine has one on it.

    Heated grips again! @@##$

There has probably bee several discussions on the heated grips but here we go again. Has anyone come up with a rheostat to adjust the heat setting from cold to hell? Secondly, I have seen several types of grips that slip on over the existing ones. Can these be used with the heated grips and...

    downdhift/lunging

Throttle grip I have caught myself more that once giving my F3 just a little throttle when gripping the handlebars. This tends to increase the RPM's slightly causing a lunge type effect. I mainly do it when I stop/take off. This could be something to check. Would attribute to poor gas mileage.

    Trailer hitch

I have looked at what feels like hundreds of hitches that will fit my F3. What I have yet to find is one that has a receiver hitch. I want to get one of the light weight cargo carriers that utilizes a receiver hitch set up. I seen a photo of one on an RT a couple of weeks ago. Of course I could...

    Chrome fetish

There are generally two kind of riders. Those who hate chrome and those who love it. I am the later. I am looking for someone that is not happy with a chrome/satin covered muffler that is on their 2015 or above F3 that would be interested in trading. I would pay for shipping both ways. I am also...

    a brief ride today

A short ride yesterday Put about 50 miles on yesterday and was planning on a ride today but the temp never got over 50 and the wind was out of the north which made it even worse. Decided to go to Home Depot and get the materials to close in my carport where I now park my Spyder.:D

    Make No Mistake About It

Finally, someone who agrees with me. I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. For years I have been telling everyone I come in contact with that we are all being watched. When I was abducted by aliens in 2008, I seen the F3 Limited before anyone ever knew what one was. (I kill me!)

    Question for the group

I too, suffer Been living with back pain in the L and S regions of my back for 17 years. I have done everything in my power to avoid surgery. My mom had issues with hers and regrets ever having surgery. I take two Aleve every night and sleep with a pillow between my knees. This works for me...

    Manual Or Semi-Auto?

Semi auto for me! Test drove a 2015 F3 S with a clutch. Once away from the dealership I enjoyed being able to "chirp" the rear tire. Something I can't do with the Semi Auto. However the manual clutch was a bit much on my hand. Ole "Arthur" and I are quite intimate with each other so semi auto...

    Updates for 2018...

My Two Cents Only had mine for 2 weeks and have found the need to chime in on a few things. 1. Stereo volume control needs to increase/decrease using only one touch instead of repeatedly pushing it. 2. Bigger saddlebags. 3. Better color selection, I really like blue but that color in...

2016 F3 Limited rear shock adjustment

Thanks! I guess I need a thesaurus for the manual. I downloaded the electronic version and did a search for "shock" instead of "suspension", lol. I weigh about 230 and the wife is around 175 ( don't tell her i posted that) what would be a good general pressure. The chart in the manual doesn't...

    Turn signal indicators

I have seen several posts about how dim the turn signal indicators seem to be on the newer models. I just purchased a 2016 F3 Limited and had an idea to drill a 5/16 hole on the inboard side of each mirror either in the top or bottom where the "void" or unused area is. My question is,is there...
