• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Shift rpms and fuel economy...

    I have been running up the revs since I read this thread but i dont have enough miles to compare MPG's I only have 600 miles and got 25 MPG on the last fill up. I also might have a heavy hand LOL

    Watching the SE's RPM

    I am another believer, I havent been riding my spyder long but today I ran it 5000 Rpm's and it was as smooth as it has been. The engine smooths out and the shifting is also much smoother. This has to be the best site to get great info Thanks again

    LCD Screen

    Yoday when I came out of work and started my Spyder the LCD screen was very dark and almost blacked out. It did get clearer as I rode but I was wondering if leaving it in the sun all day is going to hurt it or is this normal and nothing to worry about. Anyone else have an issue like this? Thanks

    Need to select new helmets - any suggestions/recommendations?

    I originally bought a full face but switched to a 3/4 the full didnt feel comfortable and was a little warm. I like the 3/4 it is more comfortable and even thou they say you have the same range of view I think the 3/4 gives you more side views

    I was in the same boat as you it had been 30 years since I rode. You will not regret getting the Spyder, it has been so enjoyable and easy to pick up. I think it is an advantage not coming from motorcycle because you dont have habits to break. Enjoy your new Spyder

    How to disconnect RT guages?

    How about being able to mount a transmitter for garagedoor opener or gate opener in that spot? It is something way past my knowledgeto design but would be pretty nice to have it that accessible. Has anyone heardof this being done?
