• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Happy riding.. Hey Trypod, Sorry to hear you had to give up your Spyder. It's a shame BRP was unable to to resolve the problems to your satisfaction. Sounds like you exhausted your options. I wish you well with your new ride (sounds like a very nice bike). :doorag: Ride safe! Regards, Stanley

    rented spyder

Questions on Spyder You were close to the answer on the 6th gear question... 6 gears = 5 gears forward + 1 gear reverse. I agree, why analog and digital speedometers...maybe analog for the old school folks ;) As for the clockwise/counter clockwise needles...not sure why, but it's cool (got...

    RS Setup For Touring?

Comfort My experience is the same as most people here. In my opinion, the biggest change was the 4" ESI riser (no more shoulder cramps). Next was the BRP comfort seat (I like it). I have the BRP 23" windshield: it helps. I've recently ordered highway foot pegs (many claim it helps). The good...

    no motorcycle driving permit???

In Canada, motor vehicle liceneses are governed by the individual provinces. You are lucky to reside in Quebec. In April 2010, the government of Quebec created a special classification for three wheeled motor vehicles. BRP is leveraging this new law to stimulate sales of Spyders...

    4in RISER HELP,,NMM

4" Riser Install I had mine installed a few weeks ago. My experience is the same as most others; the 4" riser makes the ride a lot more comfortable. As others have indicated, here's a small check list I used: 1. Pipe cutter ($15 Home Depot) 2. BRP custom handle bar grip ($40) 3. Check cables...

BRP Ultra Touring Windshield installation question - plastic screws?

BRP 23" Windshield I installed the 23" BRP Ultra Touring Windshield. Overall, I like it. Big Iron is correct, it does trap the heat between you and the windshield. The heat bothers me, a bit, on really hot days while stopped at the lights. One of the plastic screws cracked when I installed...
