• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Is the factory Trailer worth the price?

    I have an Aluma MCT that I pull behind the RT on the longer tours and I would not be without a trailer. I can put everything in the Aluma and leave the bike empty. Some of the aluminum motorcycle trailers cost $1400-$1800.

    Parking Brake Problem - Resolved

    My thought is the rear parking brake hub spring pulls the cable on to the hub, not the front pulley pushing the cable back, if the spring is weak or the cable is not adjusted properly this would cause the front cable to jump off the pulley.

    I had the same problem on my 2011 RT, BRP issued a fix for this,a better spring on the rear wheel parking brake hub. The dealer replaced my spring last summer and I have not had it come off the front pulley since.

    Kriket Belt Tension gauge tests 160 lb

    Just had mine checked by the dealer last week and the tech said it was in spec on the tight side. It shows 180 on the Kriket belt tension gauge .

    Exhaust

    I ran a few hundred miles with a Green filter and a Yoshimura R-77 it ran ok. Last week installed the TB Juice Box Pro and what a difference, so much smooooother, the throttle is a lot more responsive thru the whole rpm range.

    Take your time, on the lower plastic there is a small tap that brakes easily ( its identified as tab #1 in the second picture on the right ) that one tab cost me $79.95.
