• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Considering an RT, never ridden and would like advice

Bought my first spyder unseen Bought my first spyder unseen / undriven. Found a good deal at a dealership about 300 miles from me I couldn't pass up. 28000.00 seems a bit high for a used 2014 RTL. I have just seen 2015 RTL listed at 23, 599 .00. Of course thats in Texas. A couple of hundred...

    Dead Spyder

No BS Here Happened to me twice on my 998 Not going to argue with you, but happened to me twice. Just the facts I know. There is an oil sensor/sender on the unit. First time it happened, I was told to check oil level (which of course you can't do properly unless normal operating temp). After...

First 600 miles maintenance for ST LTD

My dealer recommended closer to 1000 The dealer told me the closer to 1000 the better. He said they had better luck with adjustments around 1000 mile mark than the 600 mile mark on the 998 engine between then and the second service.

Your Riding impressions RT VS GL1800 Trike please

I meant to catch up with George. I was down in the Boerne, area here while back and meant to catch up with George, But my wife had an accident and fell breaking her hand and we had to shorten our trip. No, She didn't fall getting off the Spyder, it was while walking and taking a tour of a Dude...

Your Riding impressions RT VS GL1800 Trike please

This video is a little on sided, so I'll give you my 2 cents worth. As a previous Honda rider, I loved the power and the dexterity of the Honda. Both 2 and 3 wheels. After riding the Honda Trike, and as you can see now going to the Spyder, the handling of the Spyder is much, much, better...

Service costs - Am I getting taken to the cleaners?

First service for 1330 at 3000 miles First service for the 1330 is 3000 miles after breakin. After that my dealer recommended every 5000 even though the manufacturer said 9300. Im going with that and my next service at 8000 going full synthetic. Welcome to Spyder Lovers !!

Thanks Doc. Spring Stiffeners are great!!

I can't say enough about the Docs spring stiffeners. I had enough time to install 1 on each side While out for a ride I picked up the delivery of the stiffeners, at the post office, went home and installed them. Took about 5 minutes. Thought I would try 1 first and see how much difference they...

    2014 RT Ltd.... Cooked crotch

I did and do! I have the same problem. Mainly notice when I'm riding and no wind moving around or across me. I know sounds weird but Guessing the wind must be just at the right speed and direction behind you to cause this vacuum space. if the air moves across or around you well it's not bad...

    2013 RTL POST RECALL

Another Question? Bob D. On the subject of the new scoops for the 2013. Do you recon these might also be available for the 2014 model? Not complaining much about the heat, but this past weekend we put about 1500 miles on our 2014 RTL and while riding in 96+ degrees I felt a lot of heat at...
