• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front Spark Plug Removal on RT???

On the right side there's a frame brace that blocks the complete removal of the airbox on the RT (visual and in the service manual). I'm at 6k miles and did a spark plug check on the rear and was trying to check the front. Guess I'll wait for 12k spark plug replacement before going through all...

Front Spark Plug Removal on RT???

Does anyone have any tips on getting to and removing the front spark plug on a RT short of removing the entire airbox? :helpsmilie: Back plug was easy. Looks like the air box is pretty difficult to remove itself (wire ties, 6 screws, hoses, and removal of frame brace). Surely there must be an...

CB Transmit Problem Fixed - Now Suspension Problem?

Had the dealer replace the multifunction gauge today to correct the CB radio transmit hang problem. The 2011 multifunction gauge fixed the CB problem. However, during the ride home I tried adjusting the rear suspension (RT-S) and now I get a orange "manual" symbol in place of the normal...

    RT Battery Replacement Needed

My 2010 RT battery doesn't seem to hold a charge like it used to. I try to keep it on a tender when the bike isn't being used but it just doesn't hold a charge like it did when new (13 months old). Anyone have a recommendation for a replacement? Is the same type battery used in both the RS...

    Flag Mounting

You said you have a "pair" of ESI's shorty antennas. I'm assuming you are using one for the BRP CB? If so, beware that you eventually will be replacing your CB unit since the shorty is not tuned (SWR) for the Radio Sound made CB. The final transmit stage will fail eventually because of the...

    RT Turn Signal Switch Replacement

Since day one my 2010 RT's turn signal switch has not cancelled correctly. :gaah:When pushed it usually turns on the opposite signal. I talked to Carlo and he indicated BRP was aware of the problem and has made improvements to the switch. He advised I should have the dealer replace it under...
