• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Tax Break?

Just to clarify...as of Monday the sales tax deduction applies to ALL new vehicles purchased between 2/16/2009 and 1/1/2010. Here is a link to autoblog.com with a press release from the IRS. It is very similar to BoneCrusher's 2nd point but I wanted to clarify that the deduction is for ALL...

Is it windshield v. full face helmet????

OK experienced Spyderlovers, riddle me this. If one has a full face helmet, do you need to go out and buy a touring windshield to prevent buffeting? The impression I've gotten is that if you have a full face helmet you don't have a buffeting problem but you lose out on some of the "wind in...

    Registered for a road test

I agree with your thoughts on reliability. However - and keeping in mind I've never even ridden a Spyder so this is a completely uninformed opinion - I don't think many mods are really NEEDED. When I purchase one next spring I don't plan to make many modifications to it for a while. There...
