• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dudley and Jennifer's 10,000 Mile Journey Blog

Hey, super late and I don't have time to post. Just added 100 pics to a Glacier folder but I didn't have time to even get to the really good stuff. Kind of you just have to see it all for yourselves. Will try to get to tomorrow before leaving or when possible.:dontknow::gaah:

Brian, only what is here that we can transfer elsewhere. At the beginning I was writing it down in a notebook while awaiting my turn on here, but that got to be real hard. Also meant I would do it twice and that in itself is time consuming; and the story would change as I would remember stuff...

    Fantasy trip

I wouldn't mind doing Canada from west to east. I just have a problem with lodging prices. Dudley doesn't do the camping thing and no trailer pulling. Never know with us. Up and go is generally how we do stuff. Don't need much. Find it pretty easy to pare down to basics; may WISH I had some...

When Roaddog isn't ryding his Spyder

Don't worry Mike, takes a man to wear pink; a kind of iffy one at times. I like pink so would have to fight you for it.:2thumbs:

    Check out this trunk!

Sorry, looks like the back of a car or a Stallion; kind of strange. If it was a woman we would wonder if our butt looked big.:yikes:

Howdy, today was a long one; lots of miles but some great scenery. Constantly changing vistas. First we started in fairly flat territory then it would start showing small hills, then river flowing (which I never had the camera on at the right time), then BIG hills. Lots of horses, sheep, cattle...

First off, I just finished off the Little Caesars pizza we had for supper. OMG it was soooo good. Dudley isn't a big pizza fan but I am and it had been months since I'd had any-yeah, yeah, I ate the majority of that pie!:yes:I'm sure going to be pushing to get back into exercise and eating right...

I've discovered that by the end of the day I'm almost too tired and crabby to sit here and type and make sense or be nice.:( The wildlife loop we started with today was nice. Rolling hills and green meadows along with the bison, prairie dogs, antelope, mules/donkeys and whatnots. Peaceful and...

It's a secret. Avoiding toe stepping and such. I forget about boundaries; kind of like the north and the south during the Civil War.

Lots of corn today, I mean LOTS. Wind and rolling hills. We visited the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD before we left town this morning. Cool place; artistry all in corn cobs and plant pieces; actually amazing. The few pics posted are made of corn; the whole museum celebrates corn and its products...

Well! Got started a little earlier today, but it was rough. Had to stop and put the leather jacket before we got tooooo far down the road:(. Won't it ever be warm enough? Things went along per normal: green, rolling fields of corn, corn, more corn, occasional soybeans, cows, horses and smells...

I forget to mention how pretty things are. People in these cool, moist areas are really into flowers; pinks, orange, yellow, purple, red, white.....it's a wonderful delight to my eyes. Hostas, hydrangeas, roses, lilies, hollyhocks, mums and lots I don't know. I stink at plant raising but love to...

:DBeautiful wake-up and take off. Lots of rolling cornfields, soybeans, other greens large and small. Lots of people; some didn't look too happy in their cars. Nothing much to report about. We are alive and kicking; think I'm getting hungry for my own food. I seem to eat all the time and never...

Everyone said what needs saying. Beautiful day, nice people, lovely green countryside . Thanks to all for taking the time to show and said HI; time is not always a luxury. Stopped in Fremont, IN after dipping our tires into Ohio (think it was that state, is it the one left of IN?). I...

Why thank you Dan. Hope all doesn't hate us now; not meaning to whine. Especially I just read about Joans' trip-very intense. Wonderful meeting you. Have fun and ride safe.

Today had a lovely beginning; we didn't hurry and I got to eat breakfast and we even had time to spare before departure. Traffic was minimal and the border crossing was quick and finding the correct meeting place went smoothly. Can't ask for much more ease than that. We got to the Tim Horton's...
