• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Tire pressure monitoring system

Thanks for sharing. I've gotten so used to having monitor systems on my cars that I've really missed not having it on Spyder. This looks like a pretty cool solution.

Vis - wait for it itation! Clearly he lost his Ultimate seat in a divorce and is wondering what the visitation rules are in such a situation.

    Speeding? Why?

Like the old comedy routine said: I'm going the perfect speed. Everyone driving faster than me is a maniac and everyone going slower is an idiot.

    newbie member

Excellent! You're going to love it. I remember putting my feet down as I backed out of the garage the first time, then almost hit one of our cars as I reached up for the non-existent handlebar brake. :banghead:

    She can't get enough !!!

My vote is for the Uclear system. The boomless mike is very convenient when putting on and taking off helmets.

    Real Bike?

I've only had my Spyder for a month now, but lurked on this forum for a while before I purchased it. I was fully prepared to be harassed by "real" bikers or be looked at sympathetically by those who felt it was for guys who couldn't handle two wheels any longer. I haven't experienced either...

    Saddlebags question

I'm not a mechanic, but I do a fair amount of tinkering on my bikes and cars. I think it took me about 2 - 2.5 hours. I found the pictures that others have posted here to be of help. Once you understand how the brackets work, it's pretty easy to understand how they fit. Also, I didn't find...

    Saddlebags question

I just installed the BRP bags two weeks ago and didn't find them difficult to install at all (on my 2012 RS). I think the instructions must have been improved over time. I had one small problem -- the kit includes new side panel vents which have a hole in them to allow your brackets to fit...

    Selling But Still Owe

I've done it before. Created a Bill of Sale stating the clean and clear title will be given to buyer when received from bank. Buyer had cashier's check made payable to my bank and I mailed it to the bank myself. Buyer gave me the difference. I gave him the bike and mailed him the title when...

    Oak Floorboards

Another Givi saddlebag question (concerning locks)

Looks like you got an extremely good deal on the bags. The keys look just like those on my BRP/Givi hard bags, so my guess is they'd work. I can take some pics of my locks if you think it would help.

    Manuals

Tech Spark I purchased the Tech Spark manual and don't like it that much. It requires a download of a special program to open and use it, so it's not easy to drop onto a thumb drive and carry to wherever you may be working on your bike. In addition, the images aren't that clear on screen...

Pin out for that 6 pin Diagnostic connector?

I find this fascinating even though it's making my head hurt. So glad we have this sort of brain power on the forum!

    Custom Audio System RS-S

Original post was way back in February. Has anyone heard back from OP? I'd like to have a system like that on my bike, if it wasn't crazy expensive.

    Texas Riders

The Dallas suburb of Coppell. So far, I think I'm the only one in my town of about 50K. BTW, my wife and I were at the bluebonnet festival in Burnet, TX in April and saw a really decked out RT (brown) there. I used that as the opportunity to introduce her to Spyders and a month later had ours...
