• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Did it really start this way?

sleds to spyders When people ask me about my Spyder(especially motorcycle people) the very first thing I say is "Have you ever ridden a snowmobile or ATV?" The Spyder ride is much more like those than like a motorcycle. I compare it to that perfect day when you unload the sled , hit the trail...

    Riding Naked!

gloves This brings up a good point. I think most people will put their arms and hands out in the unlikely event of a crash or fall. There may be those that trained as a stunt man or woman and know how to fall correctly, but for most I think it is going to be hands first. When I talk to new...

    Riding Naked!

And then there is craziness Just got back from a 2 wheeled trip through Vermont and New Hampshire. I am in the middle of the ATGATT fence. I will not ride without gloves and helmet, almost always wear boots and at least jeans and usually a motorcycle jacket. While at a beautiful overlook in the...

BRP raises the bar. Just returned home from Mondays tour.1055 miles all told, as usual not a spec of a problem. I have been fortunate to tour many factories/assembly lines across the USA, almost all were "behind the scenes" type of tours given to VIP's. {By no means am I a VIP, just lucky...

    Trailer hitch question

More questions now Now that I understand how it attaches, can anyone tell me part # of inner shaft and nut required? Being that I am not towing a trailer, what are thoughts on using a piece of threaded stock with 2 nuts and cotter pins thru them? TY

    Trailer hitch question

I bought a BRP trailer hitch for my 2011 RTS, just the hitch no mud flap, no wiring. I am going to use it to hold a Kuryakyn rack. My question is about the axle shaft. Will the stock axle shaft work or do I need a special shaft? If I need a special shaft does anyone know the part #? Thanks in...

    Baha Ron Sway Bar

FARKLES I have spent way to much on accessories for my 2011 RTS, but without a doubt the best money spent was Baja Ron's sway bar. If you've ever ridden a snowmobile, my RT now rides like a sled on rails. The tighter the turn, the faster I try to go. Night and day difference. I also recommend...

1150 mile trip to Laconia, NH and back and 2 issues.

Just got back from Laconia. Interesting week that's for sure. On the way up after about 250 miles one of my right side panels decides to pop out and won't hold back in. No biggie just put a couple of bungee cords across it and move on. As I am going thru Rutland Vt. I spy Central Vermont...

just received mine Very nice job! Just received mine, seems well made, only draw back is that it is thick on the key ring. Not their fault the key is thick to begin with! Looks like it will last a long time.
