• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Ride-on balancing issues

New front tires I just went through this also. Had front tires replaced, on way home started having vibrations at 50 mph. Put another 100 miles on just for testing and vibrations at 50 stayed. Took it back to dealer, found out that i had gotten the tech that was his last day and he did not...

    Digital display affected by heat

Arizona Hot I have a 2013 RTS and regularly ride in over 100 in the summer and have had a few rides in over 110 and never had the display problem. But we have a dry heat, maybe it is a temp/humidity problem.

Who uses a RotopaX gas can?

RotoPak I have them for both gas and water on my trailer. They work great. I have never really had to use them, but I do on occasion to keep the gas cycled.

    P0127/Arizona

Hot in Phoenix I have gotten this once or twice when I was out and about and parked it for a while and the temp was above 110. It went away after getting on the highway, did not seem to affect the bike any.

    Camping tent trailer

I know the feeling. I have a little trouble getting in and out on occasion, just kinda role out of the tent. I was more concerned about the weight, the trailer is less than 200lbs, doubt I have over 300 when loaded. Don't even know it's back there unless I have to stop in a big hurry. Have...

    10,000 miles

Rob, me too! I thought it was great when I turned over 10,000 miles, only had one other bike long enough to put that many miles on it. I am now closing in on 30,000 with my 2013 RT-S. This bike is just fantastic to get on the rode and take nice long rides.

RAM mount for left side of handlebar

I use the RAM strap mount for my cup holder, it is very solid and it would hold your Garmin with no problem. http://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-108BU

    Riding in rain

I have driven my RT in pretty heavy rain with pulling a trailer, no problems. Just like anything pulling a trailer, a little slower, if it gets to bad for you pull off and wait it out. Good rain gear is a must.

Looking for 10MM Bolt in the Cockpit area for RAM Mount or other suggestion

I used a bunch of washers to raise the the bolts in the middle of the handle bars up enough to make the RAM mount work, still had plenty of bolt left to tighten it up.

    Things that don't fit

I agree with. I have also been riding for 40+ years and most are solo, don't go in for all the riding gear and motorcycle clubs. I have enjoyed rides in small groups, 5 or 6 bikes. I went on one of the group rides at Spyderfest in Springfield and was interesting with all the different skills...

    Trailer modules

Went thru 4 modules. I took the module and extended the wires and mounted it under the rear back rest on my RT. It appears that the heat under the seat just cooks them. I have over 6 months and 4000 miles pulling the trailer without any issues.

Advice on purchase of 2013 RT LTD

2013 RT owner I have a 2013 RT S with over 16,000 miles on it and have had almost no problems, heat or otherwise. I also will keep it till one of us quits working. The only problem I have had was with the trailer light module, relocated it and it works fine now, just finished 3,000 miles...

    Another Motorcycle Death

Love the yellow That is the main reason I bought the Yellow, it is very visable. I have had only one incident in a year and a half of riding, and that person would have pulled out in front of a semi, cause he was not looking at all. Love the Spyder.
