• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The spyder wave

Thumb up..... I'm thinking a thumb up, left hand, is most appropriate of all and in all occassions and all bikes..If you see a thumb up, you're seeing a happy spyder ryder!......:bowdown:smoky

**** "DO'S & DO NOTS" for NEW SPYDER OWNERS... ****

Do read... I have never seen a better set of "to do and not" rules...BRP should incorporate this into all Spyder operator's manuals...I know...some of it's already there but this is worded so well....smoky

    Love the new lineup......

Looks like we've got us a beautiful yellow RT for 2013 but I couldn't find a Viper Red in the pics to be posted tomorrow by Can Am. For those of us who have Viper Red, we'll see good resale values for a truly classy looking Spyder. I really like the other pic combos on the new ST. Wonder...

upcoming Big Announcement.....hmmm, what's it going to be?

From my earlier post..... "With that I make my own predictions, so mark this prophecy to see how close I am. For 2013 we are likely to see a jazzed up and powered up sporty version of the Spyder, something of a cross between an RT and RS, a big jump in displacement and maybe additional...

Sounds like the ST is real

"The Spyder Hybrid will be able to run in a purely electric mode, with BRP aiming for a top speed of 30 mph and a range of 20 miles. BRP hopes to achieve a total range of 375 miles using both the electric motor and internal combustion engine." I'm still trying to fathom how an electric range of...

Why can't Can Am find some way...

to cover up that nekkid looking rear wheel ensemble? Even the beautiful new RT/S Hybrid's rear wheel looks like it ought to be more covered. What is the engineering and visual thinking about the half rear fender? BTW: I have an RT...:bowdown:smoky...

    Belt tensioner clearances.....

I'm thinking of installing a belt tensioner from the advertiser on this site and can't seem to find references in the archives as whether the tensioner will clear cat heat shields and belt guard. Anyone who's been there and done that, I would appreciate any benefit of your experiences...

Do not like this post! I hit the like button before I fully read this post...I do not like people posting such results if they do not own or have intimate personal knowledge of a product. It is a disservice to real owners and makes the poster look like a fool!:bowdown:smoky

More Georgia Rides - Covered Bridges

Rides to covered bridges are great! Some years back I made it a point to ride to all the State's covered bridges on my Harley just for the record. I did so and loved every one! I have pics on my office wall of all the bridges.

    Stolen Bike Insurance Settlement

No AARP for me.... But found something interesting when Insurance shopping I had been thru AARP...then went shopping on my own. Got the exact same policies/Hartford/Foremost with non AARP referral for less $$ go figure... Surely you know AARP gets a kickback or referral for every policy...

Does anybody else have this problem?

Go to the right.... like a good conservative!....The width of the spyder's front wheels outside to outside is 65" (5'3") which is sufficiently narrow to let you run your right wheel to the right side of the right tire track lane, thus putting your rear drive wheel just to the right edge of most...
