• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Shifting sweet spot....

No, it doesn't move around and I think I've found it! Heeding the advice of many on this forum about shifting at higher rpms, I've been experimenting with 4k, 5k, and 6k...even running sometimes into the 7's on my RT-S and believe I've hit the spot that makes the Redman sing, hum and ooohh and...

PLEASE HELP! Spyder broke down just outside of Nasville, on my way to Memphis

Maybe the brake... I suspect someone's mentioned it, but touching the brake pedal without pushing down on the brake fully will cause this to happen. Some call it riding the brake. If so, stop, turn off bike, restart and keep your foot off the brake until you intend to SLOW down.....:bowdown:smoky

    One Beautiful Piece of Machinery

Ford motorsickle.... I've got one of these 60 v8's that I'm adapting to an 8n Ford tractor. Makes me really want to put it in a Harley or Indian frame and rename it. Can you imagine the throttling out of a good mountain curve with this baby?.....:bowdown:smoky

    Freak Out!

Probably the brake.... You are most likely inadvertently touching or slightly pressing the brake pedal and causing the Nanny to think you're braking and can't make up your mind. It then thinks something is wrong and goes into limp mode. Took me a while to retrain my old dog attitude. No...

Heavenly rides in Wyoming.... If you contact the Cody, Wyoming C of C or tourism office, they will send you a brochure (or you may get it on line) of a week's worth of one/two day rides out of Cody that are out of this world. They include Yellowstone, Beartooth Gap, Red Lodge, Mt and a number...

    Thanks to this Forum....

Being a relatively new Spyder owner and ryder, I, as many, have had much to learn about this exciting and exhilarating mode of travel. I probably would not have known such intracasies as high revs to save the clutch; don't ride the brake; better stability with high shock setting and any number...

My View of The Million Dollar Highway - Durango To Silverton

Great movies... I first rode the Million Dollar highway in 1982 on a Yamaha XS11 with trailer. It was part of a 13 day 3,600 mile ride through Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and down to the Four Corners. One of the Nation's best rides!...I was told the reason it is called Million Dollar Highway is...

    Had an accident today....

Glad you're ok... Another good example of why it is good to stay as far behind or as far ahead of big trucks as you can. If you have to pass, do so quickly and get away. One never knows what they will kick up or will come off. They are notorious for dispatching those Interstate Alligators...

Went for a test drive and brought it home!

Reminds me of one time in high school when I mistakenly wore one red and one green sock to school. Someone commented they liked my socks. I told I had another pair just like them at home:roflblack:.
