• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Brake Failure Warning

Ann, actually, the fluid level is at it's mark. the parking brake does engage and release, and the full brake function was checked when the problem first popped itself up. and that is what has me confused. not sure it's a no-brainer solution, vs some huge techincal issue.

    Any thoughts for arthritis comfort

Cramp Buster works well. having an RT with cruise control makes a world of difference. Gel padded gloves offer some additional comfort, as well as hand protection.

    Brake Failure Warning

Has anyone experienced their Parking Brake light failing to shut off, when being disengaged; followed by a Brake Failure warning message appearing on the instrument display...? This has happened to me once before. I took the RT into the shop, and they were never able to determine the cause. All...

    Seat coming apart

this does seem to be an ongoing problem. the last time I washed the RT, I noticed the vinyl is separating from the backing material, almost at the same spot. I have to take it in for the brake clip recall this week, so I'll have it looked at and see what BRP has to say. our dealership is...

    Dumb question from a newbie

I've used ICE on my car, and on the Spyder. not real impressed with Spyder results. seems to need a lot of "re-application" and doesn't hold up very long for my demands.

    198 MPH!!!

that high of a speed... in the rain... I want to know what brand of tires he was running, that kept him upright and with traction. when I first heard of this, I thought it might be a "200 Club" try out. (attain 200mph, and be witnessed) NOW... you are a member of the 200 Club. we have a...

Why does'nt BRP fix the RT turn signal return ?

muscle memory works great for me. I'm very cautious about cagers in our area. so I "try" to make certain the signals go on when when I push, and they go off when I push. and I use my convex spot mirrors and turn my head to make certain it's clear before moving into the next lane. I've had...

    False screws on side panels

feel the love on here... :roflblack: the "screws" you refer to... do NOT unscrew. they "pop" in and out of rubber grommets, and hold that piece of tupperware in place. on both sides... now go get yanking ;)

How close to 600 do you have to be, for the 600 mile service?

in a week's worth of riding back and forth to work everyday... I can rack up 320+ miles. so from one weekend to the next, having your oil changed as close to the "exact" mileage, shows good intent on your part to have it serviced in the manner the owners manual "suggests". ;) you probably...

What comes in the Oil change kit and what goes where?

oil filter O ring is separate item. it's "normally" not included... and "if" you're mechanically inclined... do your own oil change from time to time. it'll give you a whole new perspective on what has to be done for an oil change. and no knocks to an H-D Tech... but this is a bike that is...
