• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for confidence in the curves...

It's NOT you I've been riding motorcycles for 50 years and experienced the same twitching of the spyder in the curves as you. You will find out from reading various blogs that to resolve the biggest part of the issue will be various upgrades you will need to make to the spyder. For me the first...

    Arm Rests for RT

I've been researching arm rests as well and here is a set that swings out and is adjustable in height. They are longer than other arm rests and are attached to a bracket that bolts on to existing bolts under the seat. It comes in Black, Chrome and a Spyder Web version. The vendor is...

    2015 RTS Unidentified Sound

I've been riding the bike around all day today with the tire pressure lowered back to 22lbs and the noise is pretty much gone. I guess it just took awhile for the belt to adjust itself to the new tire pressure. I still get a pinching sound when pushing the bike in and out of the garage. I did...

    2015 RTS Unidentified Sound

2015 RTS Unidentified Sound - Added Air To Rear Tire Weather has been cooperating and I was able to add air to the rear tire bringing it back to 30lbs. I've been riding it all around for the past couple of days and the noise has reduced by maybe 50%. Rear tire still has a pinching sound when I...

    2015 RTS Unidentified Sound

2015 RTS Unidentified Sound - Rear Tire I think the next step I will take and the easiest is to add air to the rear tire to get it back to 30 lbs as it was when I received it and ride several miles to see if the noise goes away since this is the only thing that has changed over the last several...

    2015 RTS Unidentified Sound

2015 RTS Unidentified Sound - Brake Pads I thought about the brake pads but when coasting down the drive I don't have to be turning and applying the brake doesn't change the sound. If the pads were slightly rubbing the sound should go away when the brakes are applied. Thanks for your input though.

    Used RT Guidance...

I've recently joined riding a Can Am within last 60 days. I made sure I purchased a 2014 or newer to take advantage of the newer engine. I would strongly recommend you try to squeeze out the extra dollars for this. Two things right off the bat you will need to do. 1. Purchase a BajaRon Anti Sway...

    2015 RTS Unidentified Sound

I recently purchased a 2015 Spyder RTS with 2700 miles on it. The only mod so far was to add the BajaRon Sway Bar. I've put over a 1,000 miles on the spyder and have been reading lots of posts concerning how the spyder handles. This is what led me to install the sway bar right off. I've now...

    sway bar

The sway bar should be your number 1 first upgrade. I just purchased a 2015 RTS with 2700 miles about 2 weeks ago. I've ridden motorcycles for 50 years and have already gotten nervous a couple of times on the RT with respect to how the factory sway bar doesn't hold a line in a curve as good as...

    How to start the journey

Regardless of which model you buy you need to set aside about $288 dollars for a BajaRon Anti Sway Bar or other good quality anti sway bar as your first upgrade. I say this for improved ride and especially safety. I've ridden bikes for 50 years and the spyder made me nervous a couple times in...

2015 RTS - Unknown Part Behind RH/LH Pop-Off Inspection Panels

Since I'm a new spyder owner I'm still learning the ins and outs. The manual doesn't go into enough detail for some things. Guess I'll need to invest in a shop manual. The previous owner had an oil change done every year regardless of mileage even though only one is due at the first 3000 miles...

2015 RTS - Unknown Part Behind RH/LH Pop-Off Inspection Panels

I have the manual and just checked it. I don't think I would have found this without your help. However, I'm still a little confused about the oil. My assumption is the cable running from this adjustment knob to the lights must be filled with some kind of oil to keep it pliable. So is it normal...

2015 RTS - Unknown Part Behind RH/LH Pop-Off Inspection Panels

This is my first post to the community. I was able to get a 2015 Spyder RTS with only 2700 miles on it. I knew from the beginning I wanted to add the BajaRon Sway Bar. So today I started the process of the install. Right after removing the RH/LH pop-off inspection panels I noticed a brass...
