• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Zumo 660 microphone jack

    This is the reason that I bought an EdSets Zumo mic. I had had a Cardo Scala but sold it for parts as it would not hold a charge and would shut off at random times. Used a set of earphones and bought the mic and had two plus years of teathered, but uneventful listening.

    Ran ran into that with our Garmin C550 and Zumo550. Garmin said non replaceable on the C550. Ok. I bought a replacement for the Zumo, opened the case, cut the wires and soldered a new battery in. Can anyone share a pic of the new or old batteries?

    Interesting Ride

    I ran across some road grading in SD in 2003. They were dumping #3 stone on the road surface then using a large grader to smooth the surface. I was on a Kawasaki Concour at the time. I stayed upright but the bike lost the oil filler cap. Pucker factor to say the least.
