• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally got a chance to work on the instructions and they are now on the website. www.spyderpops.com Fixed the picture clarity and added more information to make them a little clearer. It's hard to describe something that you are so used to doing and never think just hard the first time...

SEE!!!!!!!!! It took an American to beat the record. If I had not been there, then there wouldn't have been #406 because #406 wouldn't have been there. WHERE'S MY PLAQUE???????????????

    Left sided heat

I do believe the "Y" gaskets suffer from setting up then being active again. If the dealer doesn't let the engine cool before checking for exhaust flow they will appear to be fine. A small leak on the inner side could cause great heat and not be heard. As for wrapping, to do this properly the...

To reach the nuts I use a 1/4" breakover and a deep 10mm socket. It's then easy to feel inside and stays on the nut better. The first time I had my 7 year old, skinny grandson hold the nuts. Harvey

Yes all 3 screws have nuts behind them and the 2 you point out will have the nuts replaced by "U" nuts as you will not have access after you put it back together. Thanks, Harvey

The 3 screws I'm referring to are the ones on the fender bracket. You will have to remove the one up front also. Thanks, Harvey

    OH NO!!!!!

There is no reason to keep the "Missing Belt Guard" parallel with the drive belt, it is not designed this way by mistake. The angle is there on purpose and great care was taken to make it an easy install by making the adheasive have full contact with the swing arm for durability. All...

    NEW MISSING STUFF!

It will still protect your belt from rocks comming off of the tire and I beleive it will not be too obvious as it's on the inside. Take a picture with it installed when you get it on, haven't tryed it without the rear fender yet. Thanks, Harvey

    NEW MISSING STUFF!

I really have no clue about exhaust fumes being backwashed but I do know about getting the radiator heat away from your right foot. The E-SCOOP TM is designed to go with the "Air Management System" and works very well with the full package. This kind of sounds like you may have a "Y" gasket...

    NEW MISSING STUFF!

The "MISSING BELT GUARD" is not on any Spyder, it's missing! It covers the inside of the belt where rocks get onto the lower part of the belt and then go directly between the rear sprocket and belt. Garythebadger just posted yesterday what happened to his belt. The guard you see is only...

    NEW MISSING STUFF!

Sorry, the E-Scoop is part of a set and won't be broken up for seperate sale. Sounds like you may have a bad "Y" gasket or your current system is diverting hot air upawards as it also moves it outward. Your air flow may be completely blocked on the inside of the panels causing the hot air to...

    NEW MISSING STUFF!

You will have to remove the bottom plate to cut a hole in it using the provided template. This will make it very easy with it out as the E-Scoop drops in from the top side. Thanks Harvey

    NEW MISSING STUFF!

Just in case anyone was wondering if the new "Missing Heat Shield" will work with either Corbin Saddlebags or Floorboards the answer is "Yes". The only exception being the short foot boards that require cutting off some of the lower fairing. These particular products obstruct the "Missing...

    OH NO!!!!!

Just enough! The material that we are using is forgiving to vibration and contact. There is less than 3/8" between the tire and belt so there isn't a lot of room for any other type of material. This is why we chose polycarbonate as it won't hurt the tire or the belt if they do make contact...

    NEW MISSING STUFF!

If you are retaining the outer belt guard it will be perfect as they work together to surround the belt. Most belt drive motorcycles have some sort of guard that keeps stuff off the top of the lower belt where stuff goes into the sprocket.

    NEW MISSING STUFF!

Since you are running those floorboards it will be very interesting to hear how it improves your ride.
