• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    That's the beauty of Plasti Dip. You roughly mask them off, spray on 5 or 6 coats right on the chrome, (whithout removing them from the bike) and peel off the overspray around the emblems when it dries. I used a toothpick to clean out the smaller areas. If you decide you don't like if later...

    That could certainly be it. You probably had at least a gallon of good gas in there, so when mixed the bad gas would go a while before causing trouble.

    I just did exactly that - sold my 2010 RTS SM5 and bought a 2017 F3T. OMG! Great improvement. Much more fun on the bike, no break down issues so far. And if there are, the current deal from BRP includes a 3 yrs. warranty, so at least I won't have to pay out of pocket. I don't regret it for...

    X-creen is the bomb!

    The only thing I didn’t like about my F3T compared to my old RTs was the rediculously tiny windshield. So I bought the X-creen rather than fork out hundreds for a new windshield. It really does the trick for me! No more buffeting on the highway, much smoother overall ride.

    That depends. My dealer recommended first service at 600 miles (right after break-in), then it's 9,000 per oil change after that. If he did the 600 mile service you're golden.

    This is the issue - I got a great deal on my 2017, so with the 2018 bikes going at full list(at least for a while), it would cost me literally thousands of dollars to have those improvements. Not worth it to me, so I'll stick with my decision on the 2017!

    I'm not at all surprised. They seem to think that painting the wheels gold is going to make people flip out! These are not collectors items, they're something to ride. Give us something different like performance or technology upgrades, not the same exact bikes with different paint and badging.

    I really get beat up at highway speeds on the F3 with the little curved standard windshield. Do I have to replace the windshield to remedy this or would an X-creen be sufficient? I'm about 6' tall.

    Same for me. I'm only 6', but my legs are long. I was always cramped on my RT, and the F3 has set me free! It's not the only reason I got it, but one of them.
