• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    SM 10 pairing

No We don't get that. Sometimes just one of the helmets doesn't get the music. The cure is to turn that headset off and back on again and then we both have music. Still don't quite understand why we can't talk and have music all at the same time but maybe a reset will cure that. When I...

    SM 10 pairing

Interesting. Think I will return the headsets to factory settings and start again. I'm convinced both channels on the SM 10 are connected as they both slowly flash and one stops if I turn off one of the headsets.

    SM 10 pairing

just been out and checked. One helmet is on the blue light and one on the red so don't think that's it. I thought that a BT signal could only connect to one receiving unit so I'm not sure it's possible to have both helmets on one channel. Are you saying that you also could not listen to...

    SM 10 pairing

Thanks. In my case the SM10 is powered by the bike and turned on with the ignition as it's housed in the front trunk. Don't think that will make any difference. I have disabled the Bluetooth on my Zumo 590 and that comes on with the audio unit/music. I don't know if doing this is effecting...

    ALARM SYSTEM

Is there an approved alarm system available for the RT. Having always had them on two wheels just having an immobiliser feels a bit vonerable.

    Before I leave the dealership

4 weeks ago I did what you are about to do. I had a 50 mile ride home with 10 minutes previous experience. Everything that's been said is spot on. Now with 900 miles on the clock it's getting much easier but steering still takes a lot more cinsentration than two wheels. I like the auto shift...

    Spyder Cover choices?

I'm also a new owner and enquired about Can Am's OEM cover . A friend who had swapped from a Goldwing to an RT said his Ultraguard half cover from the Goldwing was a very good fit and only required a hole to be made for the antenna. At one third the price of the OEM one it was no contest...

    SM 10 pairing

I have a Sena SM10 fitted which is paired to two 10Ss. Is there an ideal sequence for activating them. Is it best to switch on ignition and then switch on the headsets or the other way round. We are finding they don't always pair or just one will. We have to switch off the headset and...

2017 Limited Lower left hand panel

Thank you gents. JayBros is correct. My handbook is the same. I have stopped any movement with two small bits of Velcro. Have yet to work out how to post pictures here but I'll get there.

2017 Limited Lower left hand panel

Would appreciate if anyone could check on theirs the black panel that sits above the foot board hanger and below the painted psnel,on the left. On mine the right hand one is solid with no movement. The left one though at the back above the pillion board can be moved up and down and even...

    FUEL GUAGE ACCURACY

Economy, you must be joking. Work this out. 1 ltr of fuel here costs on average £1.16. Times 4.52 to the gallon, a Total of £5.24 per gallon. A Pound is today 1.29 USD.

    FUEL GUAGE ACCURACY

Over my first 750 miles since it came out the crate it's averaged 42 mpg. But that's Imoerial gallons which are 1.2 something US gallons. Makes a difference but if course doesn't increase the distance it will go.

    PANNIER INNER BAGS

Number ending 172 is the ones I want. Local dealer (and only one within 100 miles) has ordered them for me.

    PANNIER INNER BAGS

Yep pressed the wrong buttons. It's 219400609. Found them marked up for the detachable panniers but look like they would fit. Bits over here in the old country are hard to get.

    PANNIER INNER BAGS

Does anybody know if the side pannier inner bags with the OEM Part No 219400069 fit the RT. Can't find them on the brp parts catalog.

Garmin 660, versus the Garmin 590

Got my cheap sunshade a couple of days ago and it works, sort of. It attached with two elastic straps over the back and being designed for about 5 different models it's a very tight fit. If the sun is at an angle where the shade stops it getting to the screen it helps but that tends to be...

    DOS AND DONTS

Its raised, but not enough to notice. I shall now forget I ever read the advise in the first place. Im very new to the Spyder world so everything is still a mystery after only 748 miles. Great fun after 2 wheels though.
