• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Tow Options

Another option is to drive and ride. I figure it would be approximately 3400 miles round trip from your location. If you could get an average of 17 mpg combined between the two vehicles with fuel averaging $3.50 a gallon (prices are falling right now), then it would cost approx. $700.00 in...

SPYDER RT PASSENGER ARMRESTS FROM DIAMOND R ACCESSORIES

One of the benefits of these armrest is that the passenger can easily access the hand grips when going around corners. They can swing in and out allowing the passenger to change arm position from supporting arms laying out or in towards the body. I don't have any pictures right now, but these...

    2010 RT-S SE5 Exhaust

Scooterexpress Scooterexpress, Can you post a video w/sound of your exhaust with the baffle removed? I have been trying to make up my mind between the Yoshimura and the Two Brothers, but have not heard the Yoshimura on the RT without the baffle. Thanks, Hob

    lower wind deflectors

I used to take off the lower wind deflectors during the summer months (2010 RT-S), but since I got the Baker Air Wings (definitely a must get) I no longer do so. The Air Wings are in my top 5 list for mods that I have done for my Spyder, the passenger also benefits from the added air flow to...

    New Tire

Mileage is not the reason why I switched to a passenger tire, as I have posted before the single biggest improvement with handling that I have made was when I changed from the Kenda to a passenger tire. When I would come up on a tractor trailer on the interstate I would get a lot of wiggle from...

    Oil Pressure Fluctuation on Gauge

On mine, not from Cowtown, I see around 60psi cold idle, 20 - 30 warm/hot idle, 60ish rural highway, 70ish interstate speeds.

    For the RT ryders...

The picture is of a RS frunk liner and the description is for a RT frunk liner. Just email the seller and ask if they are using a stock picture of the RS liner, but selling the RT liner or is the description not correct.

Isn't the RT (front trunk) larger than the RS trunk?

I received the Bestem Frunk bag and I have to say that the quality so far is excellent. I packed 5 pairs of jeans and 5 shirts and still had some more room left. It fits my frunk and I have the BRP liner, it is tight, but it's soft so it can mold to the area. There is room left above the top...

    Madstad Foot Rest Install

I have the Madstad's footrest, all you have to do is remove the bottom splash guard and leave it off. You can then do your oil change by only removing the middle side panel (the one you take off to check your oil). The only time you would have to remove it would be to drain the radiator. To...

    Better speakers, do they work?

Funny you asked: I switched out my OEMs for Polk Audio speakers around a year ago. Several months back I started having issues with the rears not having any volume. I just disassembled last night and found that both rears are blown (hopefully still under warranty). I am having to temporarily...

    NEW UTOPHIA BACKREST INSTALLED

seat replacement I think it is more of a warranty item for the early 2010RTs, the seat will pull away from the Velcro connections. Initially, if you hada PE edition, you could not get the seat replace with the embroidered PEnumber, but they changed that and now you can. I know of several on...

    Car Tires and BEST warranty

My initial decision to go to a passenger tire was trying to get more mileage out of the rear, even though 13,000 on the OEM was not bad. After mounting the passenger tire I will not go back to the OEM, because the Spyder just simply handles better with the passenger tire. The wife even...
