• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the average age of Spyder owners?

38 for just a little while longer...b-day coming on the 21st. Maturity?? I seem to regress daily. I think my 9 yr old has me beat on this one!

    Just curious...600 mile service complete

After reading some of the horror stories about some dealers, I consider myself very fortunate/lucky to have them so close to home. They have definitely earned my business. Reading a lot of your posts, have to agree that dealer set up can make or break the experience.

    Just curious...600 mile service complete

Well, today was the day. Called first thing this am and asked the dealer if they could squeeze me in for the 600 mile service later in the afternoon. To my surprise, they said come on in around 1 and be prepared to sit for a couple hrs. Headed down with a bag of food in hand and was ready to...

took the wife for a ride yesterday!!!!

Once upon a time, less than 1 month ago, the wife enjoyed going for a ride. Problem now, she's the one behind the bars! She took it to work again today and left me to drive the car...sigh!

    Dallas Tornadoes

Good to go out here, just had to deal with the sirens and hide in the closet for a little bit. I was more scared for my two girls who were on lockdown at their schools and I couldn't get to them. Oh well, springtime in Tx.

I guess that puts my mind at ease...sort of... I'd still prefer nothing dripping, I can be a little OCD with my vehicles. Thanks everyone!

    Small drops on garage floor

I'd guess that it could smell like watered down fuel. The amount s only about the size of a quarter on the floor, so definitely not excessive. My worry is, is this something normal and something to worry about in the future? Why would the evap canister be venting and dropping fluid? Maybe...

    Small drops on garage floor

No color, completely clear and when I do a sniff test, almost smells like rubbing alcohol. I'll also add that when I look at it while hot, I can see what appears to be vapor fumes(if that makes sense) coming from the hose.

    Small drops on garage floor

Alright guys, because I'm a newb and slightly paranoid, can someone explain to me why there are small drops of a clear fluid(almost smells like alcohol) coming from the drain hose on the right side, mid machine underneath? The drain hose reminds me of an a/c drain on a car and I know it's...

    The questions keep coming

So, I've been out and about on the Spyer the last few days, and I'm blown away by all of the interest that everyone has in this machine. Get ready to leave work the other day, quickly had to give a tour to an interested couple. Parked in the Cabelas lot, gave a tour to another interested...

    Competing with the Mrs.

Wish we had two Just one, can't afford two machines at this time. I'm just excited for her losing her fear about taking it by herself. She has done so great in such a short time, I'm proud of her. I did mention that now if she drives it solo, she has to learn to clean it, we'll see how that...

    Competing with the Mrs.

Well, it's official! After just one short week of ownership, the wife s comfortable enough to go out on her own. She left me today and did a 40 mile ride all by herself, so proud of her. One week in and 375 miles later, we are both so happy we took the plunge! Ryde on everyone!

    iPhone Holder in Rear Trunk

Thanks for the idea, just went out and did it. I used webbing strap from an old car seat i had laying around and an old blackberry belt case. Cut the magnet off the case so no interference on top and presto, new iphone holder for $0.00!
