• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    First Ride over 200 Miles

Took a ride with a two wheel brother to a BMW dealer about 100 miles away, Started out in rain, ended up in very high winds. All secondary roads. Feel much more confident, just need work on the big roads. The boss wanted to go for a ride last week ( first time on this machine) loved it.

Looking for bag liners, BRP's liners are just a bit pricey. Anyone know of after market products or just every day suggestions (other than plastic garbage bags). I would appreciate it. Thanks

    Brake squeal!

My brakes have squealed since about a hundred miles on the OD. I don't think much about it because the brakes on my 1200GS did the same thing. Brake material compound? It STOPS that is the important thing for me.

    Ready to go

I've had my RT for just over a week. Took the wife out today for a short curvy ride. She loves it, very comfortable and has got the lean thing going on. Looking forward to a great summer and fall. Just need some work on the Big Roads ( four lanes). I just have to get over being a motorcyclist.

Ohkay! thanks for the advice. So in other words stop fighting it. Right now its like a horse that wants to do its own thing. But that is my fault.

Handles very well in 35-45mph WIND gusts

You must be very adept at this. I was out yesterday in the wind (very gusty) and at one point I got pushed into the on coming lane, Something I am doing wrong? To me this thing handles worse in the wind than my former 1200 GS.
