• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Questions from a Soon to be Ryker owner

Hello mate! I have a 600 with the majority of options you are considering except the A-Arm protectors which I think are not really necessary unless you have large rocks in the road you can not swerve around to avoid. (That's the only thing I can think they would be good for). The splash guards...

    Ryker Gas Cap

McRuss, it doesn't go deep enough to push the valve (shiny silver flap) down. Just put one on mine & fits/works fine. Only problem is one more key to carry.

Max mount & comfort passenger seat install

Thanks bcraig, I was having frustrations after the max mount install. All I needed to do was disassemble the bag mount & piece it all back together again. Now my wife can share my fun! Blessings!

Max mount & comfort passenger seat install

Evening folks! I have a question concerning installing the max mount & passenger comfort seat on a 600 that has the Shad saddle bag mount already installed. Do I have to remove the saddle bag mount before installing the max mount & rear seat? I have the plastic seat spoiler which I believe must...

    Billet aluminum gas tank cap

Thanks Bob204bc, I realize it has a self sealing neck like a Ford Pickup. I was wanting the aluminum vented plug I saw on the other Ryker forum to keep out dust/dirt. It's pretty dusty down here in the desert. Thanks!

    Ryker Comfort seat installation?

I have a question on this seat installation. I've got a 600 with the seat spoiler attached. Do you need to remove the 2 screws holding the spoiler on before lifting the original seat to install the comfort seat? Thanks in advance.

    Whirring whine @ 38-42mph?

Update...checked the rear drive gear fluid and she was full. cueman was correct, it's a bit of a pain to put the plug back in. It's a real tight fit between the disc and the plug hole. Dropped the plug numerous times (that gear oil is slippery stuff) until I sparked the idea to use a magic...

    Whirring whine @ 38-42mph?

Thanks Cueman. I know the struggles of sore joints. Sounds like you're pretty innovative to make things work...where there's a will, there's a way! Haven't had a chance to check the rear fluid yet, but will post my findings.

    Whirring whine @ 38-42mph?

Thanks BajaRon, appreciate your feedback. I was planning on checking the gear lube level this afternoon as I've seen posts about a low level issue here. Thanks and ride safe!

    Whirring whine @ 38-42mph?

Just purchased a 600cc Ryker a week ago and just love her. Learning curve from being on two wheels for 55yrs but enjoying the ride. I have a whirring/whining sound coming from my rear tire/rear end between 38 and 42mph that is slightly annoying. Any slower or faster and whine disappears. Anyone...
