• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I have been noticing lately.....................

Sorry (I say politely) I disagree if I am reading you correctly. What you suggest smacks of censorship and that is worse than bickering.

Very true...but censorship is not the answer. I know you are not suggesting that.

Orange Screen of Death - Twice in 3 Weeks

I check the oil frequently and sometimes have to add a bit but that is all - a bit. As to the battery - you may have something there. I have had the machine about 15 months and have about 12000 miles on it, but I ride it often. It never sits more than a few days, even in the colder months...

Orange Screen of Death - Twice in 3 Weeks

I have owned 2 Yamaha's and they are not only a good riding machine but for the most part are trouble free. Never had a bit of trouble with mine. Got the Spyder because the wife said that is all she would ride 2 up and I wanted her to go with me on rides. I may be able to talk her into going...

Orange Screen of Death - Twice in 3 Weeks

About a week ago the wife and were out riding, about 100 miles from home. We were on a long straight section of road and I was fiddling with the cruise control. Suddenly I got the orange screen of death and it was telling me everything was broken meaning it was throwing up the engine pic along...

    Corrupt Cops

No, but is it time for you and some others to take responsibility for your lives rather than relegate it to the government?

    North East Tn Motorcycle Insurance

Good choice. BTW their quarterly magazine is a winner. I read it from cover to cover. Pure Americana.

    Corrupt Cops

I don't look to law enforcement for the protection of either myself or my family. That is MY responsibility. The police have no obligation to protect anyone - they are there to enforce the law...and pick up the pieces AFTER a crime.

    Corrupt Cops

You are correct. Just do a search on a John Stossel on Fox News about the police.

    Corrupt Cops

EVERY single incident quoted in the referenced post is true and has been verified. We live in beginnings of a police state. Are all police bad? No, of course not - but many of the organizations they belong to and/or work for are and by that I don't mean they are on the take and are criminals...

    "Check DPS" Limp Mode

Was doing 65 mph on a 4 lane when suddenly the Spyder goes into limp mode. Just like putting on the brakes. The screen is flashing orange as I head to the paved shoulder. "Check DPS" is flashing. I shut it down, wait 3 or 4 minutes and restart. No orange screen, no limp mode. I was over...

    Corrupt Cops

Wrong. As Spyder riders we come into contact with law enforcement types daily. This piece is a warning that all police are to be viewed with suspicion, especially on traffic stops.

    Corrupt Cops

The "I was just following orders" thingy didn't work out too well for Nazi concentration guards did it? Makes no difference what your elected representatives tell them to do - it it's wrong you don't have to do it. If you are a good moral person you will refuse to do wrong. What does this say...

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CHECK COOLANT LEVEL

Check it by looking under the right wheel well. Shine a flashlight under it. You most probably will not be able to see the top of the coolant which is a good thing. If you see the coolant level then you might want to go to the trouble of removing the panel under the frunk. Otherwise why go...
