• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    auto versus manual transmission opinion

I would be curious as to what RPMs you were up shifting at. At 5,500 it is fast and smooth as silk. Yes, it does force downshifts on you...nature of the beast. I love my SE and also love my Sportbike manual. They are just different. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

I talked with BRP for a rebate for 2013 to 2014

Ok, this is nuts. NOBODY should have burning thighs, burn their fingers on the gas cap. I have read enough threads now that it really bugs me that BRP doesn't look at say a dozen of the 2013 units people are complaining about and compare them to a dozen without the problems. There has to be...

    High engine temp

My analogs read hot when they were hooked up. My digital shows cooler and it is correct. Go digital..... Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

    2015 RS

Maybe someone can find it but I read a quote of someone from BRP stating that the new engine is the next step for ALL Spyder models. Can't find it right now. Patience can be hard..... Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

    fuel gauge

Just be sure to unplug both the analog fuel gauge and the temperature gauge so that the digital ones show up. Unplugging only one will not do it. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

    SE5 Shift points

I shift about 5500 Rpms regardless on my RT. Mileage was lousy first 2000 miles and improved a lot after that. 5th gear I only use at 65 and above. Runs great when I operate it like this... Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

    Here's a look at the 2014 Can-Am Spyder lineup

I love what I am seeing but I usually will not buy the first model year of anything. However, kudos to anyone who does. That motor sounds exactly like what I want. Lamont, my wife asked about how it sounds. A smoother purr getting closer to the sound of a Wing? Sent from my iPod touch...

    Goldwing Trike versus Spyder RT

I looked at Wings before buying my RT and you have confirmed that either would have been a good choice. If Honda would buy BRP the ultimate ride would likely result. Just dreaming I know but to have that motor on a Spyder....Oh yeah!! Glad to hear you enjoy it so much! Sent from my iPod...

Thanks JT. I may have to try them although I suspect that my Cramp Buster may end up a bit small to fit over them. Worth a shot though... Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

I would have agreed with you until my last long ride. Wrist got very sore and I used cruise control quite a bit. It seems the grips are a little small for my hands. Cramp buster has turned out to be a very inexpensive but effective fix. Ever try one? Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
