• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3-S Touring Escape Package

the strange this is... I've never had cruise on any of my bikes so don't know how much I would use it. I rarely even use it in my car, so it may be a moot point, but it would be nice to have it available as I start planning long trips for next year. I took some fairly long trips last year on...

    F3-S Touring Escape Package

Cruise an F3, tour an RT.... Pi don't know about you, Joe, but I don't have the means to pay for or even store multiple bikes, along with my car! ;) I want to do the same thing with the F3 that I did with the v-rod- make it as utilitarian as I can for me.

    F3-S Touring Escape Package

Cruise control? The one thing the F3-s has that the base model doesn't have that is of interest to me is cruise control. Is it possible to add it at the dealer or would it have to be installed at the factory? (I have no idea about this, obviously as to what's involved. Does anyone use anything...

    Spyder F3 Detachable Backrests

The trick is... Figuring out what you absolutely, truly, withoutadoubt, have to have with you/how much you need it...I tend to underestimate

    Spyder F3 Detachable Backrests

Wondering the same thing... I have a Saddleman tail bag (very large) that I strap on to the rider backrest on my v-rod and it sits there very nicely. I can envision using the same set-up on the F3. Put the cross country saddlebags on it, and I'll have more than enough storage for me when I...

Red Headed Step Child versus F3

Talking about RHSC.... Love this response! The GS/RS (i.e. the first child) has been around for what, 6+ years, and has been part of the focus of Can Am for that entire time. However, it seems Can Am didn't want to raise an "only child" but decided to add to its brood. Being a cruiser lover...

Suggested Spyder Model / Model Year

It was a cruiser Hi Mike - the Honda Magna was a V-4 cruiser with shaft drive. I had 1985/6 700 Magna - I think it was the only year with 700 vs 750 if I remember right. Also had liquid cooling. If the style of bike you are comfortable riding, the ST or F3 might work for you. Sue

F3 - In for a penny, in for a pound....

Exactly, Bob! I have test-ridden the RT and was very impressed with the overall bike. I've been riding for nearly 30 years and it's all been cruisers, and had several bikes over that time. I understand there is no perfect bike but some come very close, and I believe the F3 is one that does come...

F3 - In for a penny, in for a pound....

On the build your own page, it shows the bike as you build with different accessories including the long reach bar, short reach bar, etc. Since the foot peg position is independent of the handlebar you pick, this is what I was referring to. I ordered my bike with the long reach bar, since I am...

F3 - In for a penny, in for a pound....

I have been wondering about the UFIT system - since it seems the bars and foot pegs can be set independently, I wonder if you couldn't set the foot pegs to the position closest to the rider and the bars the furthest away, which could set it up closer to the RS configuration...That might be...

F3 - In for a penny, in for a pound....

I guess this is my way of saying that I placed an order with Pitbull today for a new F3, and I'm just feeling all giddy:yes:. I joined here a few months ago at SpyderAnn's suggestion (I've known both Ann and Joe for several years since Joe and I both have v-rods). I love the RT but I also love...
