• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Corbin Seat

Unfortunately, I am about to begin a similar dispute process with Corbin. They have not answered any of my attempts to contact them to get a status of my order which is now 1 month old. They were very quick to charge my credit card but have not answered several attempts to get a simple status...

Battery replacement for the 1330 RT

I just replaced the battery in our 2014 RT with a factory-activated OEM Yuasa battery. It was a preemptive replacement as the original battery was well maintained and functioning. However, it seemed to be laboring on a few recent starts despite being kept on a battery tender and I didn't want...

Tri-Axis Handlebars - are they worth the investment?

I installed a set of Tri-axis handlebars on my wife's RT two weekends ago. It was a long job but Finless Bob has an excellent 3-part video on how to do it. His videos gave me the confidence that i could do it myself and were constantly played and re-played as I moved through the install. Now...

    Spyder Fest 2018

I called this week and tried to make an appointment with Lamonster Garage. Jacob stated that they were not taking any appointments during Spyderfest. He also said that they couldn't do a tire replacement for me even on a standby basis. It sounds to me that at least Lamonster is only focusing...

Ultimate versus Corbin versus BRP options

I just went through the same decision making process considering the same options; BRP, Ultimate and Corbin. Ultimately, I chose the Corbin for several reasons with the heated seat option being one but not the deciding factor. I didn't find the Ultimate website very user friendly in helping me...

Many problems with this 2009 it seems

I don't have an RS so I don't have any words of wisdom. However, I am sure that there will be some good folk that come on with advice. Is the bike new to you and do have any maintenance history for it? I would search the archives of this site and try to find a reputable dealership in your...

    Mirrors\GPS

The TRICLED wide vue mirrors are an excellent option for the RT model but not so much for the F3. I bought a pair for my wife's RT and she loves them-no issues at all. However, the pair that I bought for my F3 Limited fell off after a few months (they mount differently). I removed the very...

That was a close call with the road debris! Glad the trip to Lamonster Garage went well with great service, products and hospitality. The lights and skid are nice additions.

TricLeD Wide Vu mirrors are simply AMAZING and now available for F3's

I just installed two sets of these mirrors today; one set on a 2014 RT and one set on a 2016 F3 Limited. Installation only took a few minutes per set and the fit on both bikes is excellent. I took a test ride to see how the mirrors worked at speed and there was no noticeable vibration. The...

    Leaving Spyder Community :(

That is a beautiful Indian! Best of luck with it! Even though you have sold your Spyder, you can always 'stick around' on the forum in order to socialize and continue to get information on upcoming rides or three wheel rallies.

Long distance travel recommendations with an F3L

Pannier bags I have a 2016 F3 Limited and I really like the BRP soft pannier bags. They make for very convenient travel since they hold a lot of gear and make transitioning from bike to motel room very easy.

Spyder Fever - amazing, well put together rally

Cathy and I would like to echo Kyle's comments. We also enjoyed a fantastic, phenomenal and wonderful weekend with the NISR team in Council Bluffs, IA! It was superbly organized by a team of wonderful volunteers that made sure that everyone was welcomed from the moment of their arrival. The...

    Blanking caps

The right side blanks are for fog lights. There should be blanks up front and slightly below and outward from your headlights. The bikes comes pre-wired from BRP so you should be able to install both them and the heated grips yourself. Lamonster Garage has a video showing the install process.

    Leftover new 2016 F3T?

It really depends on what you want. I would not let the manual clutch to be a deal breaker for you if you are comfortable with it (manual) and have test ridden a Spyder with manual clutch. However, if you really like the SE performance, then I would hold out for an SE.
