• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Highway pegs http://www.customdynamics.com/can_am_spyder_footpegs_grips_accessories.htm This was the set up I used on my 08 but also ordered the Nbv 4" adjustable arc link with Widow pegs. Brackets have to be on the outside of the plastic on 2008's. Still a work in progress getting them in...

    For all my Northern Friends

First trip... Got my first ryde in today to Battle Creek,Mi from Adrian,Mi and back. Terrible gas mileage

YMMV Just a thought but I've always noticed that the "winter" blend of gasoline gets lousy mileage while the "summer" blend does a lot better. I've noticed it with the :spyder2: but don't ryde much when the winter blend is available and have never tracked it. My Chevy 2006 Aveo mileage dropped...

    Exhausted

I'm gonna let the shop do the work, I have proven over the years that working on vehicles is not a happy time for me. Things just never seem to work out right and the extra parts always leave me wondering... :dontknow: I just don't want to do any harm by continuing to ryde before the repairs...

    Exhausted

While getting an alignment :banghead: and replacing all $$$ tire$, I was told me that the slip gasket on the exhaust was leaking on my 2008GS. (got it last year with 6,000mi... presently 16,000mi) It was mentioned the engine was running lean because of the gasket being "very" bad and that I...

    windshields

Mastad Just put a Mastad on my 2008 GS. Couldn't be happier... you can control the amount of wind you get and it quieted the wind noise even when I drop it down to where the stock shield was setting.

    Tail light / Turn signal

I lost my left tail light but the brake light still lit. It took little over an hour and several trips to the internet and manual to figure out how to remove the fool thing. Then a drive (no ryding :spyder2:) to Napa to get the correct bulb. Napa part number 17916 replaces the P21/5w 12499...
