• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Should Spyder have its own independent dealer network in addition to BRP dealers?

Not quite sure I am understanding what you are saying here Bob. When you say the franchised dealerships not wanting to compete against the company they work for, which franchise are you referring to, BRP? ... or do you mean say Honda / Suzuki / Yamaha etc … I ask this coz in my mind if it’s...

    Shifting issues

Thanks for the idea, I will definitely mention this to the tech tomorrow when I drop the bike off, but I do hope it isn't something like a loose nut in the clutch ... my hope is a new paddle or some tightening is needed.

    Shifting issues

Thanks for responding, in fact the paddle shifter on mine is not feeling the same as it has felt. By this I mean that is it not as spongy or springy when changing gear and was wondering if maybe the paddle could have decided to retire itself.

    Shifting issues

thanks for the idea, thus far I have thought (1) Dirty connection at paddle, (2) paddle needs tightening to get better connection, (3) shift solenoid gone bad, (4) bad position sensor or (4) Leaking clutch piston

    Before I leave the dealership

Posted speeds When my wife and I bought ours, we stuck to the posted speeds especially on the bends and corners until we got comfortable with how the spyder handled and rode. As time went on, (roughly about 300 miles later) the comfort level and confidence grew and so did our speeds.

    Warranty BS

The way I read that ..... the dealer must be an authorized dealer in that country." I am reading this to mean that if the dealer is in the US then they must be an authorized dealer (vice versa) if the dealer is in Canada. I may be wrong, but that sure doesn't make a lot of sense to have a...
